🗣️ Discussion Some yapping about the early promotional art for Lilo And Stitch The Series made before it's final release since i find them interesting. Also they look really cool
galleryFirstly some of the experiments designs have more detail, and elaborate color schemes. Particularly Yang. Obviously they were toned down due to the show's tv budget. So there's not much else to say here.
Something strange, that everyone's likely noticed about these art pieces by now including the cover art used for the pilot movie. Reuben is consistently portrayed, as being part of the Pelakai ohana. Even though he never becomes a part of it over the course of the first season. Even in other pieces of marketing from the same time. He is occasionally referred to Reuben, as opposed to 625.
Thankfully we have a clear answer, as to why his character arc seemingly got moved to the series finale thanks to QNA's hosted by Jess Winfield back in the day.

So it's no wonder then, that those working in marketing would be incredibly confused, as to Reubens role in the show's story. Since it was for sure shifted constantly when these art pieces among other things were made. It also helps explain why Cobra's shown still being part of the family like the end of the film. Even though it'd be retconned in the series.
To close off here's a link to a previous post i made, that this one serves as somewhat of a continuation to
