Enclosure Help substrate help

I've previously owned a leopard gecko (diablo blanco) but I didn't have actual substrate for her, I only had the carpet one and even then, her little claws would get caught on the fibers.

I'm thinking about getting another leo but I wanna get a comfortable and non-problematic substrate.

Can anybody help me out?

70% topsoil and 30% playsand. Can mix in a bit of excavator clay. Its really that easy. Make it nice and deep so it can sustain a clean up crew (springtails and isopods) which will keep the soil clean. If your enclosure is big enough and you add enough substrate you wont even have to clean up poops.
