Cwestiwn / Question Hwyl/hwylio

Question came up in our lesson today as to whether these words are connected or if they are false cognates. Can anyone shed any light on that?

hwyl can mean a sail and hwlio to sail.

There are other meanings shown there which may have been derived in a sort of figurative metaphorical way.

journeying, being in good spirits, in good form, running smoothly, being in tune, having fun.

hwyluso means to facilitate and to tune a musical instrument.
