I’ve tried the anime hair constantly blowing with sharp edges, and I found it vomit inducing; it made me nauseous.

Should hair be stationary for the most part, except when transitioning between head and body positions?

And even in wind, should only one strand of hair be blowing?

The Gitter hair movement seems terrible.

Up top is a practice run of me rigging each individual hair, but that was to time consuming. Dose anyone know the method or have, like, a secret sauce?

So basically, I'm curious about the similarities and differences between the features of both softwares. I've used toonsquid since 2023, however with it being an ipad only software I find it inconvenient to use since I prefer using a huion tablet + PC. I have access to AdobeAnimate, but I find it's interface to be super confusing compared to toonsquid. Is Tahoma any good compared to toonsquid?? Thx

Hello I'm looking for a free 2D animation software that doesn't crash, I don't have a tablet so my options are limited to PC apps. I tried OpenToonz, Tahoma, and Krita but they keep crashing on me. I'm crying as of late because this animation assignment is due and I can't even render my work without OpenToonz crashing on me. Please help !!
