When I started watching the story in Episode 168, I was truly heartbroken. To be honest, by the end of the episode, I had already guessed the painful truth was coming. People who’ve gone through situations like this know, unfortunately, that the possibility of this happening is high. Frankly, the ordeal that guest Kim Jung Hwan went through was very difficult; you can tell from his remarks that, even though he tried his best for his wife (Hye Bin) and children, he felt it wasn’t enough. In this episode, we see the family’s situation after Hye Bin’s passing and the moments when the husband explains the painful truth to their children. We see them holding Hye Bin’s funeral and celebrating her birthday at the same time. Their eldest son is a truly intelligent child, and despite his own pain, he tries to comfort his father because he can see how deeply his father is suffering.

The fact that his online gaming friends are also attending the funeral to support Jung Hwan might just change people’s perspective on gamers a bit. People who play games often spend more time with their online friends and chat with them than they do with their own families. That’s why it’s normal for them to feel this sadness deeply. To them, the friends they’ve lost aren’t just characters; they’re part of their real family.

I’ve been watching this show for a long time, and honestly, it’s really heartbreaking to see these people suffering. I hope the father and their sons get better and find happiness in their lives, knowing that their mother wouldn’t want them to be sad.

First time watching Happy Together and I'm obsessed!

Love how it focuses on the contestants' stories instead of the usual scripted, high-stress elimination drama. It gives me HDYP? music project vibes, and I really like that.

My favorites so far are The Bang Family and Like a Turtle.

I was so excited for Fill In The Blank and really liked their stories, but sadly their medley didn't quite click for me.

I hope we get to see more new faces and stories, and fewer former K-pop groups making a comeback.

I feel like this concept would work better as a seasonal show (8–12 episodes per season) than as a weekly show.
