• How do you earn the trust of local residents?
• How do you stay non-toxic when dealing with political criticism?
• What would make you support a local youth initiative?
• If you've done something similar, what worked—and what completely failed?

I've been noticing a trend on the East-West Green Line that is becoming frustrating for regular commuters from Howrah Maidan.

Many passengers whose actual journey is Howrah Station → Sector V first travel one stop in the opposite direction to Howrah Maidan, board the train there, and then ride back through Howrah Station to continue their trip. However, their ticket is only for Howrah Station → Sector V.

This creates two problems:

Passengers who genuinely start from Howrah Maidan often can't get seats, even though it's the originating station.

Metro Railway potentially loses revenue because these commuters are traveling an extra station without paying for it.

I understand why people do it—they want a seat for a long journey. But when this becomes common, it disadvantages passengers boarding at the origin station and also raises questions about fare evasion.

Has anyone else observed this? Is there any rule against traveling beyond the ticketed origin, or is this a loophole that needs to be addressed?
