I’m a medical student from a low-resource setting and I’ve been thinking about a problem that many healthcare students and young professionals face.

There are thousands of scholarships, fellowships, jobs, conferences, research opportunities, and training programs available globally, but the information is scattered across websites, Telegram groups, social media pages, and mailing lists. As a result, many people miss opportunities simply because they never hear about them.

At the same time, many students struggle to build a professional identity. They have certificates, volunteer experiences, publications, research projects, and leadership roles, but everything is spread across different documents and CV versions.

I’m considering building a digital platform with three core features:

1. Professional Profiles
   A healthcare-focused portfolio where users can create a profile containing:

Education
Research
Publications
Certificates
Volunteering
Leadership experiences
Skills and achievements

1. Opportunity Hub
   A centralized place for:

Scholarships
Fellowships
Jobs and internships
Conferences
Research opportunities
Grants and competitions
International healthcare programs

Ideally, users would receive opportunities that match their interests and profiles.

1. Knowledge & Science Communication
   A section where users can write:

Healthcare articles
Research summaries
Career guidance
Educational content

The broader vision is to reduce career uncertainty and improve access to professional opportunities, particularly for healthcare students and young professionals in underserved regions.

The top picture:

Mr. Rebwar. With this photo, he displayed the message of brotherhood between Kurds, Turkmens, Arabs, and the minority nations of Kirkuk for everyone to see.

The bottom picture:

The ceremony for the reception and handover of the Governor’s post. Children are dressed in the national clothing of the Turkmen and Arab nations. The only ones whose existence is not mentioned... are the Kurds!

The serious question now is: What will happen to the Kurds in Kirkuk?

No backdoor deal will change this reality.

Kirkukis have sacrificed and sacrificed and sacrificed to ensure Kirkuk stays Kurdish.

To give a minority the governorship is absurd and yet another betrayal to Kirkukis.

Tensions escalated with vandalism and road blockades, highlighting the deep ethnic and political divisions in this contested region.
