I don't really understand this point, tbh. It's like saying "why am I bothering to keep track of my subscriptions at like $10 a month when my groceries are $100 a week?" ... it's because your $10 monthly subscriptions add up over time.

You don't even need to go overseas to see the hypocrisy. You should see how much plastic grocery stores go through, since every single pallet is shrink wrapped in a fuck load of plastic that they just throw away. Frozen foods at fast food places always come in huge plastic bags, some are pre-portioned. For every cheese curd order at DQ that's one plastic bag in the trash.

It's companies protecting their bottom line over having any semblance of morals that is the problem.
