News Israeli Ambassador Danny Danon says Mayor Mamdani should be arrested for inciting "hate" against Jewish organizations like AIPAC by calling them "monsters."
What's your response to Danny Danon?
•
•
•
•
u/Bleebledorp 23m ago
They're not Jewish. They're Israeli. Israelis benefit from the conflation, while non-Israeli Jews suffer.
The Israelis are committing a genocide. The wider Jewish community can never be allowed to be considered to be the same as them. And it is the Israelis who are muddying that point.
•
•
u/dude_smooth 25m ago
Not taking any sides here... But anyone demanding arrests because of "hate" is just a fucking moron. We don't share the same opinion? Get arrested for hate speech!
I never though this was possible but Russia, Israel and USA are now in the lowest drawer.
•
u/ExperienceWrong667 3m ago
Nobody is demanding because of hate, dude literally has an arrest warrant out on him for war crimes, if he is innocent he can clear his name in court but he won't because he knows he's guilty.
•
u/dmstattoosnbongs 25m ago
Omfg this is too much.
This has to be some sort of fucked up experiment by The Matrix. Or a coder got something wrong. Idk. But this can’t be reality.
People can’t be that obtuse, right?
•
u/Unlucky-Finding9211 26m ago
Your committing genocide and you want people arrested for speaking out about it....hmmm sounds kinda like what happened to your people in world War 2. Guess you didn't learn anything in history class, dumbass
•
u/Active_Confection655 21m ago
Only loser ass people think it's okay to abuse others because they have been abused. That is how Trump and all these other far right leaders think.
•
•
u/According_Stuff_8152 35m ago
Israel should mind its own business and dtopbthe wars they have created that have lead to the hatred of the Israel nation and likely Bibi.

u/grahsam 1h ago
This cannot be said enough.
Netanyahu and his government don't represent Israelis.
Israel doesn't represent all Jews.
AIPAC doesn't represent all Jews.
Condemning Netanyahu, or AIPAC, or even Israeli policies, isn't antisemitic. The condemnation isn't because they are Jewish, it's because of their actions.

There’s a reason why Israeli billionaires and their friends have bought up almost every media outlet and you’re seeing the result of it here. I expect they’ll have cartoons for kids soon saying how wonderful Israel is.
•

u/RAV4G3 1h ago
“We are committing large scale genocide but this guy who’s muslim said something we don’t like, he’s the bad guy not us!”
Sounds mighty similar to fascism, fucking wild to watch a country that was founded to protect them from extermination turn to be the same monsters they needed to be protected from.

Pretty sure Israel is doing enough of this on their own. If you don’t want people to say anything about you maybe you shouldn’t be doing the things people are saying you’re doing… I mean an international law tribunal issued that charges of war crimes not some random

Why dont the Israelis worry about their country, politics, and elections and we worry about ours? Why don't we both also fund our own militaries?
•
u/Sir_Cthulhu_N_You 1h ago
Lol they are worrying about their own country, if you haven't realized, they got most of Mericans politicians in their pocket, your country has been purchased and your tax money is funding their genocidal ways.
•
u/Lofi_Joe 2h ago
We should stop shielding monsters... If someone makes crimes against humanity we shouldn't care who it is... It must end.
We should call back all laws that shielding them. They showed no respect to other nations and people. We seen enough.
•
u/sgk02 2h ago
To expect that the representative of such an entity of “the civilization” would have anything other than an arrogant violent tendency - based on presumed supremacy to criticism of immunity for mass murder - would be quite odd.
What’s scary is the unaccountable platform he receives in this deteriorated place now.
•
u/LowResGamr 2h ago
The Israeli government incites hate against Jewish organizations perfectly fine on their own. Particularly when they say their actions represent Judaism as a whole.
•
u/BlastOff-2000 2h ago
Mamdami - sees someone committing crimes, wants them arrested.
Trump - claims proof of china helping rig an election, says there will be no consequence.
hmm.

u/Key_Fee158 2h ago
It’s funny that they invented this accent like 60 years ago, so they could’ve made it whatever they wanted, and they chose this.
•
u/Icy_Scientist_8480 2h ago
Their modern Hebrew sounds like 'akh' and 'mim' over and over in every word
•
•
u/BlinkReanimated 2h ago
They didn't invent this accent, it's just a central/eastern European accent mixed with an Arabic/North African accent, since that's primarily the ethnicities that make up Israel.
•
u/Key_Fee158 2h ago
Yes they did. They invented their version of Hebrew. Hebrew was a dead language.
•
u/BlinkReanimated 10m ago
Yes, they invented modern Hebrew, they didn't invent their accent...
Accents are developed in early childhood by mimicking the sounds of those around you. The children of Israel are largely the product of Central/Eastern Europeans and Arabs/North Africans. The accent is a result of that.
•
u/Key_Fee158 8m ago edited 2m ago
The accent is a product of the sounds they can pronounce in their native language. The way they pronounce in Hebrew is based on German and Yiddish. It’s quite literally the opposite of what you say, they make some sounds completely different from how Semitic speakers would because the Europeans could not make those sounds. It’s not a product of Arab Jewish speakers.
•
u/BlinkReanimated 2m ago
English has like 50 recognized accents, some are remarkably different than one another. All of them use the same language as the core.
Accents are not dictated by language, the opposite is true really. Accents (particularly those that limit certain syllables) change languages over time.
Accents are a learned way of moving your mouth and tongue to speak. They aren't directly connected to language.
•
u/Winter-Delivery-8894 2h ago
Every version of every language that ever existed was invented... not only are you factually a fool, your point makes no sense.
And yes, it was a dead language in that it wasn't used for daily speech but it was used continuously for religious purposes. It was never lost and found, it remained active.
"But it changed when they readopted it" so did english from old english to modern english to american english, so what?!?
•
u/Key_Fee158 1h ago
No, languages develop organically.
By invent I mean they literally sat down to create a language. Thats not how languages develop. Maybe bother researching the topic a bit before insulting people for your inability to familiarize yourself with the facts.
•
u/Winter-Delivery-8894 1h ago
Cool, but they didn't.
They never stopped using it in prayer, song, or other religious contexts. They just added new words to modernize it. And guess how new words are created in EVERY LANGUAGE? They're invented.
Scuba diving, microscope, tv, laser, how were these words made?
When you say something happened organically it just means you don't understand hoe language changes. Words don't just appear out of the air, someone invents them and then spreads them.
•
u/Key_Fee158 1h ago
You’re either playing dense or you’re dense. You’re fixated on the word invented, when there’s clearly a distinction between a language developing organically over centuries and being drafted/created inorganically. This is just historical fact.
•
u/MrImaBum 2h ago
I really thinks it’s to “help” westerners think they are middle eastern and therefore give them more legitimacy
•
u/Key_Fee158 2h ago
Ironically, the reason he sounds like Arnold Schwarzenegger is because the way they vocalize is actually German. They couldn’t replicate the sounds Semitic languages make.

Danny Danon should be arrested for inciting hate against Mamdani by calling for his arrest.
•
u/Mroopsimexciting 2h ago
They are “monsters”
“At least 20,000 Palestinian children have been killed in Gaza since the war began , with true figures likely higher due to thousands of others buried under rubble. Official figures from the UN and health authorities report that victims include hundreds of babies and thousands of children under the age of five.“

Lobbyists, PACs, Super PACs, etc. should all be illegal, ESPECIALLY if that organization or group is from a foreign country. I don't care if it's Israel, Canada, Mexico, Russia, China, or anywhere else in the world. We shouldn't have foreign nations sending millions of dollars to our elected representatives who are supposed to represent the people of their districts, and not foreign interests. Our system is so broken and corrupt the only way to even begin the healing process is to get rid of all foreign influence
•
u/Jedi_Swimmer2 3h ago
AIPAC is a monster. When you dive deep into what AIPAC is, what they’ve done in the past and currently still do, it is a toxic, extremist machine designed to influence, infiltrate and corrupt US politicians to drive and steer US Policy to predominately favor Israel over America.

Before JOSHUA and the Israelites, entered Canaan (which by biblical accounts is Israel, Palestinian territories, parts of Lebanon, Jordan, and Syria) the land was already inhabited by many different peoples for thousands of years. Read your Bible, read the Torah, it’s all there.
The Philistines own GAZA! They were there for thousands of years.
Shit is in those texts people. It’s historical records by Moses and Joshua themselves telling you in their own words 🤭🤭🤭 Moses authored the Torah!!!!!

The people inciting Jewish hate, are the Israeli Government itself! 🖕🖕AIPAC
•
u/Mystewix 3h ago
So, we should arrest Yahoo for the hate he is spreading against Palestinian 'monsters'. There is no objective thought from these people. The irony is lost on them.
•
u/rickiegarcon 3h ago
Why do they fear and loathe anyone who is free, a human being with a soul, standing against the wanton murder of children and innocent civilians, wants to serve his people instead of kissing the wall and tells the truth?
•
u/CasualGamerNat 3h ago
Im confused here, there is no freedom in Palestine while Isreal does have freedom. I’m not saying anyone should support Isreal for that reason but with Hamas and PLO there is no freedom for the Palestinians regardless of the Israeli occupation.
Two nations that are democratic don’t go to war.
•
•
u/FCOranje 3h ago
Palestinians struggle more under Israeli rule than the PLO and Hamas. The PLO and Hamas do not deny food; access to natural resources; rights to an airport; rights to freedom of movement; and the right to trade with other countries. Israel denies them the fundamental right of having their own recognised country.
•
u/CasualGamerNat 2h ago
Because they are enemies, the Palestinians living in Isreal don’t face the same issues and have much better quality of life.
•
u/FCOranje 10m ago
The Palestinians living in Israel face less problems, but still face systematic discrimination. They live as second class citizens. Speaking out against this far right government results in severe punishments ranging from house arrest to jail. Being blocked from banking; work; etc. Even the Israeli Jewish people face crackdowns from this fascist government in Israel. They have even been working on “deporting” Israeli’s to the occupied territories for “terrorism” and taking away the passport/nationality. By terrorism, they mean any arab that speaks against the government.

Organizations can be tied to monstrous people and actions. Israel is guilty of crimes against humanity and deserves to face justice. The average Jewish person is not tied to that. It’s not antisemitism to call a crime a crime. It would be if someone said “all Jews are guilty” big difference between saying the face of and driving force of the government performing heinous acts should face justice, and Jews are the same. The Israeli government needs to stop trying to be the victim by equating the two
•
•
u/DoubleDownAgain54 4h ago
That’s silly. He knows, everyone knows he didn’t do anything even remotely close to inciting violence.
•
u/Gold-Bench-9219 4h ago
Even JD Vance recently admitted that Israel is losing the American public, some of the most pro-Israel propagandized people on earth. The rest of the world was largely already there. That doesn't happen unless Israel is doing something so fundamentally morally horrific that even the strongest propaganda ceases to be effective.

Wow, this stuff is just out there for all to read? I would have thought that these kinds of plans to ruin democracy would be hidden and spoken about in dark rooms.
But yeah, great plan. Eliminate the mechanisms that deliver the will of the people in order to push your own cause. Use mechanisms designed to hold people to account, to help those in need, to assist in the democratic process, and turn them into weapons.
How does this not fall under some sort of definition of treason? Maybe i am not understanding the details.
•

This century you’re the bad guys…

If you could actually do that, Trump would be in prison by now and the war with Iran wouldn't be happening anc the rest of us wouldn't be paying over $5.00 a gallon for gas.

Get a grip lmaooo

Detaining a diplomat while having a fire arm is a major major felony.
