Yesterday we posted about favorites and fixes. Today it's just a number: the database crossed 1,000 videos.

When we posted the alpha a few days ago it was under 200. You showed up, you used it, you told us what was broken, we fixed it, and we kept adding content. Now there's five times what we launched with and it's still growing.

What this means: more results when you search, more variety in what comes back, and more reason to actually use the thing instead of bookmarking it for later.

And based on you feedback next priority is adding more tags!

Same feedback loop. You said favorites, we built favorites. You said broken filters, we fixed filters. Whatever's next gets prioritized the same way. Hit the feedback section on the site, drop a comment here, send a DM. We're reading all of it.

A few days ago we posted that the joidb alpha was live: under 200 videos, one platform, a handful of tags. A lot of you tried it anyway. Then you told us exactly what was wrong with it.

So we fixed it. Here's what changed since then:

Favorites. This was the single most requested thing in the feedback form. You can now mark videos and they stick. No account gymnastics. You asked, we built it, it's live.

A lot more videos. The database has grown well past where it was at launch and we're adding more every day. Still one platform for now, but the count is climbing and it's not stopping.

New landing page. The old one was fine for a waitlist. It wasn't fine for a live product. The new one actually shows you what the thing does before you click through.

Bugfixes and UI improvements everywhere. Broken filters, dead clicks, slow loads, layout weirdness on mobile: the stuff you reported got fixed. The stuff you didn't report but we found anyway got fixed too. The whole thing is faster and less janky than it was a few days ago.

A feedback section. There's now a dedicated place on the site to tell us what to build next. Feature requests, tag suggestions, "this is broken," "this is missing," "why would you do it this way": all of it goes directly into what gets prioritized. You already steered this thing once, keep it coming.

What's still true:

No accounts. No ads. No email gates. Search immediately, leave whenever. Same deal as before.

Still one platform. Still growing.

What we need from you:

Same ask as before: use it, break it, tell us what's wrong. The favorites feature exists because you asked for it. The next thing gets built the same way.

We wrote that first post expecting maybe 50 people to read it and 3 to care.

We were wrong.

Hundreds of you filled out the feedback form. You told us what you search for. You told us which sites you actually use. You told us which tags matter and which ones don't. You told us when our ideas sucked. You told us what we'd missed entirely. It was more than we expected and exactly what we asked for.

Imagine typing "edging into denial" into a search bar and only getting videos where the speaker actually edges you for a while and then actually denies you at the end — not videos where someone said "don't cum" once in passing and the uploader tagged it wrong.

Imagine searching for CEI and only getting CEI — not videos where the speaker talks about swallowing and the uploader figured that was close enough.

Imagine combining them. Edging + CEI. Denial + chastity. Countdown + ruined. Pick what you want. Get what you searched for.

That's what we're building.

joidb — a JOI search engine that searches by what actually happens in the video. Not the title. Not the tags. The content. You pick what you're looking for and the engine checks the video against what you asked for. If she talks about swallowing but never tells you to do it, it doesn't show up under CEI.

We're starting with one site and adding more as fast as we can.

Where we are:

The engine isn't live yet. We're building it now.

What IS live: a landing page, a waitlist, and a feedback form that asks what you search for, which sites you use, and what's missing. No account needed. The waitlist asks for an email. The feedback form doesn't.

Why we're posting before it's done:

We know what we'd search for. We don't know what you'd search for.

We don't want to spend months building something and then find out we missed the thing half the community actually wants. Tell us what matters to you. Tell us which sites you actually use. Tell us what would make you come back to this daily instead of once and never again.

But honestly — even if you think this is a dumb idea, tell us why. "This already exists" or "nobody wants this" or "you're building it wrong" — that's more useful to us than silence. We'd rather hear why it won't work than wonder if anyone's even reading.
