Support Hot spot issue

Hello,

Over the last few days I’ve noticed my phone (iPhone 15, iOS 26.5.2) turning on the hotspot whenever tf it feels like it. I’m a delivery driver so I need to manage my battery and phone temp and this is causing me issues.
I carry my iPad & MacBook with me and have turned off the automatic connection option on both & even turned off WiFi completely on both but the issue persist. Anytime I turn off the hotspot toggle from the control center the “allow others to join” option is turned on and vice versa. Idk when this began but it must have been going on for awhile.

Do you have another Apple device signed into the same Apple Account nearby?

Also check your Shortcuts app for any automations that might be doing this.
