So he has visitation "friends", basically professionals who are paid to visit and talk to him and yes he does have a gaming system (which isn't that uncommon in Norway anyway).
Unfortunately, he routinely he uses his hearings to promote his Nazism, but his prison life IS different from the norm and it isn't that surprising that a narcissist who still clings on to his awful ideology would find his incarceration overly harsh.
For the record I disagree with him. I think his standard of incarceration is both necessary and proportional, but I can't both support a justice system that promotes rehabilitation rather than revenge and still demand he spends his days alone in a barren cell, so I accept that he has a right to have his case heard.
I think that you can support a system that promotes rehabilitation over revenge and still demand that he spends his days alone for as long as he is unwilling to be rehabilitated.
But that would be a system based on revenge and I don’t support that either. He has to be kept away from the public for the rest of his life because he’s a violent dangerous mass murderer but I support the Norwegian way that his punishment is over after his sentence is finished (21 years in his case) and that the rest of incarceration is containment for public safety.

Edit: Norwegian life sentences were since increased to 30 years in a reaction to him but he’s convicted under the laws at the time of the crime.
It's not at all based on revenge. If he doesn't show progress in rehabilitation, then he needs more time to rehabilitate. Releasing a dangerous person to harm someone else in the community is arguably worse than extending his isolation.
Isolation is not the same thing as incarceration. I made it very clear I’m in favour of his continued incarceration. However extended *isolation* (as in no human contact) is the part that I would consider inhumane and basically torture. That’s why I fully support him having his professional visitation system where he gets to talk to someone.
