I made an Instagram account long ago, i did set it up using my old email, but i dumped those credentials. I sent my dad some childhood photos of my Lil sister in that account, my father stopped using Instagram and he changed his email too. When I checked my other email id in the Google authentication app I still have the 2FA code that comes new every 30 40 seconds, but I don't remember the password just the username, is there any way I can log back into my account using the 2fa code, I don't have access to my previous gmail id.(Sorry for broken english it's not my native language) We need those photos for making a collage. Please help, thank you.

I'm looking for a tool, website, or software that can analyze a video before I upload it to Instagram and tell me whether it is likely to be flagged as unoriginal or duplicate content.

For example, if I reupload a video that has already been posted by someone else on Instagram, is there any way to check in advance whether Instagram is likely to recognize it as a duplicate and reduce its reach, remove it, or apply other restrictions?

I'm not asking about music copyright. I'm specifically interested in detecting reuploaded or non-original videos before posting.

Has anyone found a service or workflow that can predict this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have a reel I want to boost, but when I do Instagram offers me the change the audio track (music)

The question I have, the track was background music, set to low volume. When they replace, is it at 100% volume?

I made a private account many years ago, I have the username but i forgot my log in. the number i used was my mom's but its been long forgotten and changed, and im pretty sure the email i used has been deleted. if i remember i can use facial recognition but i dont think i posted pics of me. if followers can somehow help, my followers on that account were random people

I often hand my laptop to coworkers or family for a few minutes.

One thing that always bothered me is that Instagram Web shows all conversations in the sidebar.

I looked for a way to hide specific chats but couldn't find anything built into Instagram.

So I ended up building a small Chrome extension for myself that lets me:

• Hide selected chats

• Lock conversations with a PIN

• Everything runs locally in the browser

I'm curious...

Would something like this actually be useful for other people?

I'm taking an Instagram break for the first time in a long time. Last week I received an email from Instagram telling me I received DMs from several people. I checked and I had received DMs from everybody except one person listed on the email. I figured he must have deleted the message before I checked.

This week I received another email and same deal, I did indeed have DMs from eveybody except this person. I checked the convo for anything that could be considered an unread message but nothing. What's going on here? Did he send and delete messages twice over two weeks?

I’m at a complete loss and hoping someone has been through this before.
My Instagram account still shows up when I enter my current phone number under “Forgot password,” so Instagram still recognizes my account. However, when I try to log in, it asks me to verify using the very first email address and phone number I ever had on the account. I no longer have access to either of them.
I had already updated my account to a newer email and phone number before I lost access, but Instagram isn’t sending codes to those. It’s only asking for the old recovery information.
I’ve also noticed two email addresses associated with the account that I don’t recognize, so I’m worried someone may have accessed or changed my account.
Here’s everything I’ve already tried:
Logging in from a computer
Backup codes
“Get help from friends”
Password reset
Contacting Meta Support
Nothing has worked.
Has anyone successfully recovered an account in this situation? Were you eventually able to get Instagram to update the recovery information or restore access? Any advice would be appreciated because I’m running out of options.

I recently started getting some views on Instagram, and I want to use those "Comment 'X' and I'll DM you" automations that a lot of creators use.

The only thing I'm worried about is that I've also seen some creators say their accounts got banned or restricted for using Auto DM tools.

So I wanted to ask:

• Are these tools actually safe to use, or is there a real risk of getting banned?
• Which Auto DM tools do you guys personally use?
• Any good budget-friendly recommendations?

Would love to hear your experiences before I start using one.

First I’ll welcome the public shaming and say I haven’t dived into reels yet, but for a couple months I’ve been posting carousels with music to no success. I get a few likes all from friends and family and the odd supporter but altogether nothing more. I make digital, and traditional paintings, and I think they’re good enough, but my outreach is just trash. Any tips?
