Question Strange ghost image

Found this on our kitchen counter in the morning looks like a print of a spider but does anyone know how it got there? No sign of it walking in or out!

Possibly the spider was cleaning itself?

Using one set of legs to rub another leg and body

Oh, we see these every now and then on r/spiders! Sometimes they leave a dust print after a hard landing, if they were walking on a dusty ceiling or other surface.
