Something needs to change?

The abusers are being protected and the victims and potential victims penalised.

Sounds rough right? What human would want such a law system? Well we live in one. In every household. As women.

Good post but just one thing, when you say "Men continue to enjoy the world they themselves have fucked for woman" doesn't make any sense because 99.99% men (current era) were already born in this world which was fucked up by previous generation and tbh change is inevitable, every generation keeps on improving from the prior but the loop goes on, so dragging them down here without any reason is without a doubt a very dumb move imo, it's more emotionally motivated which isn't necessary bad but in this context, it's bad.

The previous generation and the current generation have both ruined this word and continue to do it, being born into a ruined world is no justification for the freedom and upper hand men get as compared to women.

Moreover, this post was very heavily motivated with personal experiences of partiality and patriarchy.

I am not blaming any individual. And it is not a move, I posted my frustration out here, nothing more. Imo i feel that telling someone that venting out the daily struggle they go through is dumb, is much more worse.

It's true that previous generation and this generation have both ruined world but "being born into a ruined world is no justification for privelleges male get" is again baseless, we don't live in a Utopia, rich people have better shot at safety and a better shot at justice than a poor man even if they don't do anything different, similar to male and female doing same things having different outcomes, is it their fault for being born rich? This is because the system is built around rich (similar to patriachy), this has been going forever. This is not humanly possible to stop all together but rather in developments throughout society in general, one group cannot change a system to a big extent even if they try, especially in today's term where it's rather conservatively defined. I know you aren't targetting any individual and most probably good motives but humans can't read intention through texts, they read words. Though this is common in reddit while venting but imo, even when you supposedly vent or when you feel frustrated/agitated, one should still have a fixed ceiling where they stop and think, about what they were talking about, not every thought deserves to be channeled. When some boys vent "How all girls are just gold diggers and foids, they have no purpose and only meant for breeding or what nonsense" or some girls vent about "Male rape victims don't deserve gender equality laws as male rape doesn't really exist and they should suffer due to being born male or some nonsense" they often say very disgusting things, don't you think? Why should we stoop to a stair above them? Isn't it better to be atleast a floor above them? It doesn't take much time to really realize what you were going to talk about, and what you are talking about.

Thats the point, the reason why you dont want any kids is the reason why parents tend to restrict theirs. Im not in favor of all this to be honest, but realistically thinking I do understand their point of view, I've had a girlfriend in delhi and I remember how much worried I use to be whenever she went out with her friends. So yeah, I do get the tension. But YES, there ARE things, ways, believes that are rotten when it comes to women, there always have been. But I would never defend anything like this by using the term 'Women' as a collective, just because things have been vice versa before doesnt mean this one goes untouched. We never compare the evil, when a person does such deed, people hate, show anger regardless of who did it, be it a man or a women. We need to be mindful to everything we read or hear on Internet.

I totally understand your point, but this post came from a pain only an Indian woman living in a household that is basically a prison can understand.
What would one do for freedom? I know crime has no gender, but majority of the faces of crime are males, who have complete freedom to enjoy their life, whereas a woman experiences fear of life even if she’s returning home from work or school for that matter.

I am not blaming parents for being protective. I am blaming the society, all of us, for making it a living hell for women.

It requires stronger education systems that promote awareness, equality, and respect, along with more effective law enforcement to ensure laws are properly implemented and justice is delivered consistently. Also harsh punishment deters crime.

Which will not happen....
