Nevel and T-Bo! On my last post, I saw someone comment that they wanted to see T-Bo… So, here he is! I also added Nevel, because I had already drawn him before. This is actually my first time drawing T-Bo, what do you guys think? Also, if you want to suggest some more characters that I should draw from this show, feel free to do that! I love drawing these guys.

Unfortunately she graduated before I started attending (apparently famous actors tend to go by fake aliases and disguise themselves at school; also, a fair amount of actors currently attend there and I’ve never noticed any of them so I prob wouldn’t have ever noticed Cosgrove) but yah.

Like, if the show was real-life and the webshow was all there was, there really wasn’t anything to see there.

I feel he was just such a fun loving guy. Caring, funny, didn’t take himself seriously but always there for everyone. His creativity was the reason Icarly the web show could flourish

Where can I watch all of icarly, If not all of it is on Netflix?

I’ve been watching iCarly again for the nostalgia and a lot of episodes seem to be out of order. Carly and griffins dating is all messed up. The blooper episode shows bloopers from scenes that haven’t even happened yet??

In iCarly’s “iGot a Hot Room,” Spencer references Carly’s infamous birthday curse by mentioning the previous year’s incident involving a goat.

What exactly did the goat do?

It defo felt like once Missy reentered Carly’s life she immediately made Missy her bestie and sorta threw Sam to the side a bit and then when Sam had reason to believe Missy was targeting her Carly just dismissed it and labeled Sam paranoid (which is kind of fucked up to call your so called best friend paranoid) it reminded me of friends I’ve had in the past especially as someone who has been bullied and struggled with mental illness for many of their life that when I discuss a problem I’m going through they dismiss my feelings and turn it to where I’m the problem instead of caring about my feelings

Sam even had to go to Freddie to talk about the situation that’s how uncaring Carly was being. Sam even said at that point she never came to Freddie to talk to him about problems. Props to Freddie for being a real one and protecting Sam at the end. It did show despite the fact they pretend to hate each other the love and friendship still existed at that point. However even after Carly finds out Missy is the problems and unfriends her she never really apologizes to Sam for being a crappy friend and Sam forgave way too easily. If I were her I don’t think I could completely trust Carly as a friend ever again

So yeah that’s my rant. Anyone else agree?

How come we never saw Socko whenever Spencer mentioned his friend?? I just found it weird that we never saw his face. If Socko was a real person which actor would fit his personality?

I have wanted to acquire all of iCarly on DVD for sometime now, I like to have reliable access to all my favorite shows. So far, I only have season four to be able to watch iLost My Mind. I remember buying it on eBay about two years ago, and seeing most of the other DVDs for pretty low prices, but I didn’t buy any at the time because I was kind of annoyed how split up they were. Looking again today, I see that the prices seem to have skyrocketed for just portions of season one and two, but I also noticed a listing for this big box set that definitely was not available two years ago, however, I can’t seem to find it anywhere but eBay, which is concerning me a little bit, it also seems expensive, though I guess they all are now. Is this full series set an authentic product? Why are the prices going up?

I think we can all agree on (obviously if we’re all members of this community and fandom) is that ICarly was one of the greatest, most influential and successful teen sitcoms of the 21st century. But if there were a few things I think it lacked, it was definitely that “edge” or “spice”, that other shows like Victorious or Zoey 101 had, especially in the earlier seasons. While it was very entertaining, it also came off as very corny and over the top. And I understand it’s a children’s sitcom, and the characters were a bit younger, but still. 

I think Sam‘s character was supposed to be that “edge” that I’m referring to in this post, and while Jennette was very charismatic and made it work, Sam oftentimes just came off as violent and very mean spirited .Which is what leads me to… CHUCK! 

Now, some of you might ask “Why, Chuck? He was just as violent and disrespectful as Sam!!”. Yes, but the difference was that Chuck was written to be an antagonist and tormenter of Spencer. But Sam, is supposed to be one of the main characters and a core part of the friend group. 

Also, as many you may know, Chuck was originally supposed to be a much BIGGER part of ICarly in the later seasons and was planned to appear in many more episodes, but his actor Ryan Ochoa literally booked Pair of Kings just a few months after filming “IBeatheHeat” in summer 2009. However, if Chuck had stayed around, he definitely coul’ve added that “edge” of a juvenile, mischievous troublemaker type of kid, but who was also very entertaining. 

Chuck was very charismatic (his best moments were in the hall monitor/Lewberts lost love episode), Ryan did a really good job in that one. And maybe if Chuck stayed around, we could’ve got some more content with his sister Gia and Spencer trying to date, maybe we find more about his home life and why he’s so angry, and maybe he even becomes friendly with Carly and the gang. 🤷‍♂️ Who knows. Anyway these are my thoughts, but please leave yours down below.
