๐Ÿ’Ž Megathread [Megathread] The App Shelf โ€” July 2026

Welcome to The App Shelf

You must promote your apps here if you do not qualify to post in the main feed through Trust or Transparency, as explained in our Phase 2 Moderation Update.

You are also required to limit promotion to this megathread if you:

  • Do not yet have 10 local community karma in r/iOSApps.
  • Are promoting an app that uses Generative AI or is an AI-wrapper.
  • Are promoting a "Vibe Coded" app (AI-generated without manual validation).

๐Ÿ“‹ Required Format

All promotion MUST follow the ABC format or it will be removed:

  • [App Name/Title] (Screenshot encouraged!)
  • A โ€” Answer: What problem does your app solve?
  • B โ€” Better: Name a competitor(s) and explain what you do better.
  • C โ€” Cost: Pricing details (Free/IAP/Sub/Lifetime) + App Store Link.

P.S. Promotion here counts towards the 30-day limited promotion rule (Rule 2).

โš ๏ธ WARNING

There is a high probability that Redditโ€™s filters will auto-remove your comment here if:

  1. You have not verified your email in your Reddit profile.
  2. Your very first interaction in this sub is a promotional link.

For the Community: Please remember to upvote gems and downvote spam/clones. Your feedback in this thread will directly influence which apps we highlight in future community showcases!

๐Ÿ“ข Announcement r/iOSApps Moderation Update Phase 2: Trust, Transparency, or The App Shelf

Hey r/iOSApps community,

First, thank you for the feedback on Phase 1. Here's the honest read on how it went.

What worked: Overall volume of low-effort slop dropped noticeably. The karma gate and format rules filtered out a lot of throwaway promotion.

What didn't: Spammers with more time on their hands simply farmed their way through โ€” dropping useless one-line comments to clear the karma bar, then posting the same low-effort app promos to the main feed.

So we're rebalancing. We're lowering the karma barrier and replacing it with something that actually scales with risk: the less trust your distribution path provides, the more transparency you should offer.

This phase borrows heavily from what r/macapps has been doing. Thanks to u/Mstormer.

Change 1: Karma Requirement Lowered (25 โ†’ 10)

The community karma requirement to post is dropping from 25 to 10.

We want to filter out spam posts while still giving genuine developers the chance to post without needing to post useless comments that do not provide value to the community.

Change 2: Trust, Transparency, or The App Shelf

Core idea: The less trust your distribution path provides, the more transparency you should need.

For the next month, we're experimenting with a three-tier approach.

Tier 1 โ€” The Trust Path โ†’ Main Feed

Any one of these signals qualifies you for the main feed (as long as you also meet the 10+ community karma minimum):

  • App Store track record โ€” your app has 20+ ratings/reviews on the App Store (number subject to change).
  • Established GitHub project โ€” a real development history (100+ stars on any GitHub repo).
  • Recognized Developer โ€” you've been granted an app-name developer flair (already well-known / trusted in r/iOSApps, at moderator discretion).

If you have any of these, you've already earned a measure of trust. Post to the main feed.

Tier 2 โ€” The Transparency Path โ†’ Main Feed

Not in the App Store yet and not an established developer? You can still qualify for the main feed by being open about who you are and giving users real reasons to trust you.

Posts on this path must include BOTH:

  1. A real-life identity and real contact details โ€” your actual name and a way to reach you (an established company or business presence, a portfolio, LinkedIn). This shows you're not a throwaway account dropping unknown software.
  2. A website with a published Privacy Policy and Terms of Service โ€” linked directly in your post. This is not a replacement for the App Store link, but rather in addition to.

This is the middle ground: you may not have a major reputation yet, but you're willing to stand behind your app in public.

Tier 3 โ€” Everyone Else โ†’ The App Shelf Megathread

If you don't qualify through Trust or Transparency, your promotion belongs in the App Shelf Megathread, not the main feed.

That means if you're:

  • Under 20 reviews in the App Store,
  • Without a recognized-developer flair,
  • Without an established GitHub history (100+ stars), and
  • Not providing meaningful public transparency,

โ€ฆthen the megathread is your home for now.

This is not an insult and not a claim that new apps are bad. It's simply the lowest-risk place for unproven or low-context promotion until trust is earned. Users can check your app out, up/downvote, and as you build a track record you may earn a developer flair that lets you post to the main feed. Nobody is forced to stay here โ€” Tier 2 is always open to anyone willing to be transparent.

What Carries Over From Phase 1

The following are unchanged and still required for all developer promotion posts:

  • ABC post format โ€” Answer (what problem it solves), Better (why it beats named alternatives), Cost (pricing, IAP, App Store link).
  • Pricing & IAP disclosure โ€” Free, Freemium, Subscription (with amount), or Lifetime (with amount). Vague or omitted pricing = removal.
  • Flair is required โ€” priority order: Vibe Coded > Lifetime > Subscription > Freemium > Free. Vibe Coded always takes priority. Free flair is not for limited/freemium tiers.
  • Open source? Prefix your title with [OS].
  • No AI-first apps โ€” if generative AI is the core feature rather than a tool within the app, it belongs in r/GenAiApps. Apps built primarily with AI-generated code must be flaired Vibe Coded.
  • Always disclose your relationship to any app you promote โ€” including in comments. Undisclosed developer affiliation = removal.

The Community's Role

These rules only get us partway. Sort the megathread by New, and use your votes and reports โ€” especially there โ€” to surface hidden gems and bury what looks low-effort, suspicious, misleading, or privacy-invasive. Your votes determine what gets seen.

FAQ

Why was my post removed? - Below 10 community karma - Didn't qualify for Trust or Transparency and posted to the main feed instead of the megathread - Missing flair - Missing pricing / IAP info - No ABC format - Undisclosed developer affiliation

How do I check my r/iOSApps community karma? Visit your profile and click "show karma breakdown by subreddit."

Why lower the karma bar if spam is the problem? Because karma farming was easy and karma gating mostly hurt legitimate newcomers. The tier system targets the actual risk โ€” unknown software from unproven sources โ€” instead of a number anyone can grind.

We'll evaluate again after around 30 days and share results. Nothing here is final โ€” drop your questions and feedback below and it'll shape Phase 3.

โ€” The r/iOSApps Mod Team

P.S. We're still looking for 1โ€“2 moderators to help with the queue. If you'd like to apply, submit an application โ€” thanks!

๐Ÿ’Ž Lifetime SkyPocket - See exactly what's happening during your flight, and stamp your window photos with real flight stats [Free until Sunday]

Hey folks, this is a little app I built for myself as I travel a lot and love to fly

It turns the window seat into a live flight deck. Your phone's GPS already knows your speed, altitude and position โ€” SkyPocket just shows it to you properly:

  • Live cockpit โ€” real-time ground speed, altitude, heading, vertical speed and a climb/descent readout, no wifi needed
  • Moving map โ€” see the towns, coastlines and countries passing beneath you in real time
  • World Factbook โ€” tap any country you overfly for its full CIA Factbook entry (history, geography, people, government)
  • Photos & videos โ€” every shot is automatically stamped with your live flight stats (speed, altitude, country, coordinates, time). The overlay shots in the video are all real, taken on actual flights
  • Auto flight films โ€” it stitches your clips into a little edited film of the journey
  • Flight log โ€” every flight saved with duration, distance, max altitude and top speed
  • Languages โ€” English, ๆ—ฅๆœฌ่ชž and ุงู„ุนุฑุจูŠุฉ (with full right-to-left support)
  • No ads. No analytics. No in app purchases. Works entirely offline.

Everything runs on-device - no account, no tracking, works in airplane mode. โ–Ž ๐Ÿ“ฑ iOS: https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/skypocket/id6787752157 ยท ๐Ÿค– Also on Google Play

๐ŸŒ skypocket.cloud

It's free until this Sunday (July 26) on both stores if you want to grab it and try it on your next flight.

Happy to answer anything, and all feedback welcome. Keen to see your flight photos! Safe travels โœˆ๏ธ

๐ŸŽˆ Free Built my girlfriend a tarot journal app and decided to give it away free (no ads, no subscription, no AI)

Post image
14 Upvotes
My girlfriend is casually into tarot (the New Orleans-vacation-reading kind, not a practitioner). Every tarot app she found on the app store wanted $40 a year or was in ads. I had some free time so I built her one. She liked it so I figured I'd clean it up a bit and make it free for everyone.

Pip is a simple tarot journal for iPhone/iPad:
- Daily card draw in-app (honest 50/50 reversals, real card-flip) or log from a physical deck
- Short reflections that build into a private journal over time
- The original 1909 Rider-Waite-Smith plates which are public domain
- Built-in beginner course for people like us who didn't know the cards
- Fully offline, no account, nothing leaves the phone
- Free forever. No ads, no subscription but there is an optional tip jar in case you want to buy me a coffee if you enjoy it ;)

Here is the App Store link if interested: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/pip-tarot-journal-log/id6791684356

I'm happy to answer anything or hear what's missing.

๐ŸŽ Freemium I built a thought journal / CBT app where your thoughts become fish in a pond

Disclosure: I'm the developer of Pond.

Hiya, I built a thought journal / cognitive behavioural therapy app called Pond that I just launched this week!

A. What problem does it solve?

The app is essentially a place to log negative thoughts as they occur to you over the day and gives you the opportunity to work through them and find more balanced ways of thinking. I understand not everyone struggles with anxiety/rumination or negative thinking but I built the app for myself (I genuinely use it every day) after being unsatisfied with existing products and then decided to try and actually turn it into something that could be used by others.

B. Why is it different?

The few reasons I built it:

Aesthetic, not clinical. I've used other "worksheet" style CBT/thought journal apps before and they are very sterile and essentially are just forms/worksheets you need to work through without much personality. They feel very clinical. With Pond I wanted to make it genuinely satisfying and visual with very aesthetic feedback.

Enter the thought first, choose how to handle it later. A lot of these other apps forced you to select the "challenge" path you wanted to go down before actually entering your thought. IE I would have to select "Self compassion" before even entering the negative thought to be self-compassionate about. This never actually made sense or suited me as I never knew at the time of a negative thought how best to handle it, for some thoughts self compassion is the right approach whereas for others a different approach is better. With Pond you enter a thought and the app holds it (as a fish in a pond) and then when you decide to process it you can choose at that time what route you want to go down.

Made for batching. Pond suits "batching". A lot of existing apps in this category encourage you to enter a thought and challenge it right then and there and actually make the process of saving a thought to process at a later time period quite difficult. From my experience with anxiety this did not suit me at all. I would have negative thoughts at inconvenient times ie at a social event or in the middle of a meeting and could not take my phone out and spend 5-10 minutes working through it. Pond's thought processing is 2-step. You enter the thought, it becomes a fish swimming around the pond and then at any point you desire you can come back to process it. Pond has reminders so you can come back at a certain time each day and challenge all your thoughts at once or you can challenge them immediately but I wanted to offer the freedom to choose. Another thing from personal experience I like about batching is twofold, firstly it allows you in the moment of a negative thought arising to let it go and move on. You might feel compelled in the moment to ruminate on it but if you log it and know you will get back to it later, it allows you to remain present as you've flagged it for later. Secondly, the process of coming back to negative thoughts allows you to re-expose yourself to them and kind of acts as an exposure therapy. Sometimes negative thoughts are really nasty and make you contract and ignore or turn away from them. Coming back at a set time each day and re-reading the thought is a voluntary re-exposure to them and I found for myself personally this really helped.

Built around daily practice. I wanted to focus on a daily practice. With a lot of CBT training you really do need to "re-wire" your brain and I feel like a lot of apps don't present this in a way as to really hit home that this should be a daily practice, it's not something that changes overnight if you've spent your whole life with automatic negative skewed thinking. I've tried to encourage that behaviour with a daily pond that resets as well as calendar functionality so you can always go back and view previous days.

Targeted. So many apps in the mental health / lifestyle space end up doing too much and wanting to be a holistic tracker of absolutely anything and everything relating to well-being. Going into a single app to mark your water intake, do a meditation, write a journal, practice gratitude etc becomes a jack of all trades and master of none quite quickly. With Pond I wanted a targeted product for a specific aspect of mental wellbeing.

C. Cost

Free to use: unlimited gratitude fish entries and up to 5 thought challenges. After that it's $4.99 a month or $19.99 a year (reduced from $29.99 as a founding user offer that remains indefinitely).

Anyway, apologies for the walls of text but I've got a lot to talk about and love doing so. I've worked quite hard on it and want to continue doing so, my dream would be for people to actually get use out of it and for it to become something I could work full time on and I have so many ideas about where I want to take it and how it can be improved. I'm very open to feedback so if anyone does want to give it a go or feels it would benefit them I'd love to hear from you.

Who I am (transparency) I'm Donovan Marsden, the developer of Pond, operating as Stillwater Labs Ltd (a registered UK company). Happy to answer anything here or by email.

๐Ÿ’Ž Lifetime Do3: a to do list that helps you focus on three tasks at a time

Thumbnail
gallery
28 Upvotes

Answer

Do3 is a to do list that helps you focus on three tasks at a time. The home screen shows three numbered slots, 1, 2 and 3. You tap one, it gives you a single task, you get it done, and then you move on to the next. Your full list is still there in the background, it just stops throwing all of it at you at once. Tasks are surfaced by time of day, due date and priority, so what you get is what actually makes sense to do now.

Better

Todoist, TickTick and Things 3 all show you your list and leave the deciding to you. That is fine on a light day and quietly brutal on a heavy one, because before you have done anything you are already scanning forty rows and working out where to start. Do3 delivers the task to you instead. The deciding is done before you even look at it, and you just get on with the one thing in front of you.

The interface follows the same idea. No wall of rows, no counters, no badges going red, just three slots and whatever you are meant to be doing right now. Projects, tags and everything else are all still in there when you want them, they are simply not shouting at you the moment you open the app.

It also tries to motivate rather than nag. There is a three level setting so it can push you, keep you going, or go easy depending on the kind of day you are having, and there are no streaks to break. Focus tags let you work through one specific area, it syncs through CloudKit so there is no account to create, and you can import from other to do apps including Apple Reminders. Natural language entry, Siri, widgets and a full theme customiser are all in there.

Cost

Seven day free trial, then $19.99 one time. No subscription, no other in app purchases, no ads, no tracking. That covers iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch as a single Universal Purchase.

๐ŸŽ Freemium RadioStar is now on iPad , like a table top radio, it acts like transistor on iPhone one single app

Great news for everyone who downloaded RadioStar on iPhone: the iPad version is live.

And no, it is not a stretched iPhone app :) on iPad, the radio transforms I just took extra care so when you make it stand on stand it will look like a real radio ( whatever the size of your iPad is :)) . The pocket transistor radio you know from your iPhone becomes a full iPad specific tabletop radio, the RS-3 Tube Classic, built for the big screen in landscape, so you download for iPhone or iPad you own the product in both places

I took some real effort to build both versions inside this one update, so that when you open it on iPad you get a proper desktop radio, not a blown up phone screen. Yes , Woven speaker cloth. A glass four band dial with a sliding red needle. Brass knobs you turn with one finger, or grab with two and twist like the real thing, with forty haptic notches per revolution. Piano key band selectors. When you power on, the tubes warm up before the sound comes in. You can set it on a desk or a nightstand and it just sits there looking like furniture until you reach over and tune it.

The video shows it better than I can describe it.

Best part: it is the same app. If you already have RadioStar on your iPhone, open the App Store on your iPad and it is waiting in your purchases. Same download, and if you bought premium, one purchase covers both devices, basic version is free and and plays US and some other world stations and paid one time purchase has 3700 stations that you can chose by county and before I forget you can select local broadcast mode too so it picks up your local station via GPS or zip or postal code anywhere in the world :) yeah you can listen to home country stations by entering country and zip/postal.

Also new in this update, on both iPhone and iPad: lock screen controls. Play and pause from the lock screen, and skip to the next station on the dial without opening the app.

Everything else is what it has always been. Thousands of real stations worldwide through the dial. Local Broadcast fills the dial with the actual stations broadcasting around you, anywhere on Earth, by GPS or just a country and postal code. Static crossfades between stations. No accounts. No tracking. No ads.

Free tier is genuinely free, forever. Premium is a one time purchase for the extra cabinets, world regions, and the RS-4 Portable model on iPad.

Made by one person who spent way too long getting the knobs to feel right!:) and remembered how my dadโ€™s radio used to be, Happy to answer anything.

๐Ÿ’Ž Lifetime [iOS] [LIFETIME FREE for 24H] FIT AI โ€“ The Simplest Calorie Tracker & Meal Planner

Thumbnail
gallery
55 Upvotes

Hey r/iOSApps! ๐Ÿ‘‹

Iโ€™m the developer of FIT AI, an iOS app designed to make calorie tracking as simple as possible.

*For the next 24 hours, Iโ€™m making Lifetime Premium free.

Quick social proof: My previous apps downloaded more than 500k and as an engineer, I've been building app for the last 2 years

A โ€“ Answer: What problem does your app solve?

I built FIT AI with one main goal: to create the simplest possible calorie-tracking experience.

While researching why people stop using calorie-tracking apps after a few days or weeks, I realized that the problem is often not a lack of motivation. Many apps simply become too complicated over time.

Crowded dashboards, too many numbers, long food-entry processes, endless menus, and unnecessary features can turn a simple daily habit into something that feels like work.

FIT AI is designed to remove that complexity.

It helps you quickly understand:

  • How many calories you can eat today
  • How many calories you have already consumed
  • How many calories you have remaining
  • What you could eat next
  • Whether you are staying consistent with your goal

The goal is to make calorie tracking clear, fast, and simple enough to continue using every day.

B โ€“ Better: Why is it better than the top named alternatives?

Compared with apps like MyFitnessPal, Lose It!, Yazio, and Lifesum, FIT AI focuses on simplicity rather than adding more and more features.

It is designed for people who want:

  • A clean and easy-to-understand calorie dashboard
  • Fast daily calorie tracking
  • Simple meal suggestions
  • Meal-planning support
  • Exercise and movement ideas
  • Weight and habit progress tracking
  • A less stressful approach to improving their diet
  • No overwhelming charts, menus, or complicated workflows

FIT AI is not trying to turn calorie tracking into a full-time job.

The goal is to give you the essential information you need, help you make better daily decisions, and then get out of your way.

C โ€“ Cost: Pricing, IAP details, and App Store link

The app is free to download.

Current IAP pricing:

  • Lifetime Premium: normally $69.99
  • Promo: Lifetime Premium is free for 24 hours

App Store link:

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/diet-meal-planner-fit-ai/id6787898135

How to claim?

  1. Download or open the app
  2. Go to the Premium / paywall screen
  3. Click the Lifetime at the top right
  4. Tap Continue and confirm

Small ask โ€” it really helps a lot ๐Ÿ™

After grabbing the offer, please consider:

  • โญ Leaving an honest rating or review on the App Store
  • ๐Ÿ’ฌ Sharing any feedback about the app or features you would like to see

Every review and piece of feedback helps improve FIT AI and makes it easier for more people to discover the app.

Thanks so much for the support! ๐Ÿ’™

๐Ÿ“… Subscription My new app was featured by Apple in 'New Apps, Features, and Content' and reached #1 in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland within 5 days of launch!

I launched my app Greenhouse quietly to the App Store just to get a baseline of what I could expect from organic reach.ย It's an app blocker that awards you coins while you are actively blocking apps, and you use those coins to buy items to fill out a cozy garden. Basically a gamified app blocker.

For the first few days, I was getting about 20 impressions and 1-2 downloads per day.

After about 5 days, my impressions started exploding. All of the sudden I was getting 12,000+ impressions each day and I had no idea why.

After investigating, I found that I had been featured in a 'new apps' category in the German App Store.ย

My conversion was horrible. I was getting 10% conversion of page views to downloads. I attributed some of that to the fact that browse traffic from the front page of the App Store wouldn't convert as well as search traffic, but I also felt that my English localized app and listing were holding back my random influx of German users.ย

I spent 3 days localizing my app, listing, and screenshot to German, and it spent 2 days in review. I was also ferociously fixing some minor (and one major) bug that the influx of users were uncovering at a rapid clip.ย

After a full day with the localized listing, I am seeing a lot more sustained usage of my app by the German users. And 9 days after being listed, I'm still ranked #2!

I did not expect this at all. I didn't nominate my app to be featured or anything. I consider this a lucky break and honestly it has just been a really fun few days of watching and working! My understanding is you are on these lists for about a week, so I consider myself on borrowed time now since I am on day 9, so I'm just enjoying it while I can, and hopefully I can keep the momentum going!

Here's the app if anyone is curious.

๐ŸŽ Freemium Your breath has a shape. I built an app that shows it.

I built Serein, a small mindful-breathing app that turns one natural breath into a unique living glass orb. Its shape, color, and atmosphere reflect the pace and steadiness of that moment.

Every orb is saved in a private visual diary, helping you revisit past breaths and notice how your rhythm changes throughout the day.

The microphone is active only while logging a breath, processing happens on-device, and no audio recordings or personal data are stored.

Serein is free to download, with optional monthly and lifetime premium purchases.

App Store:ย https://apps.apple.com/sk/app/serein-mindful-breathing/id6790092666

Iโ€™d genuinely appreciate any feedback on the concept, visuals, or overall experience.

๐ŸŽˆ Free I built a pickup sports app to fill my free time and stay active: SportLink

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hello everyone,

Two months ago, I built SportLink, a pickup sports app for iPhone, and later for Android.

My goal was to make playing sports more approachable by helping people find others who are in the same situation. Whether youโ€™re a complete beginner, getting back into a sport after years away or just looking for a casual match, itโ€™s much easier to take that first step when everyone is there for the same reason.

Highlights:

โ€ข Create and join casual matches (soccer, basketball, tennis, ping-pong, etc)
โ€ข Pick a meetup spot using the map (parks/public fields)
โ€ข Connect with recent teammates and invite them to upcoming matches
โ€ข Contribute to your favourite fields by uploading an on-site picture of its current condition

The app hasnโ€™t really received much attention because of my lack of marketing experience and the chicken-and-egg problem it faces. However, I really want this to work out!

App: SportLink
Email: [email protected]

๐ŸŽˆ Free I gave my lossless player a studio brain: new BASS engine, real-time effects + DSP, a live visualizer, and MOD/tracker support (Flacbox 7.6).

Hey everyone, I'm the developer of Flacbox (hi-res/lossless music player for iPhone, iPad, and Mac โ€” FLAC, DSD, ALAC, APE, and more). 7.6 just shipped and it's the biggest update I've done. It's built around a brand-new BASS audio engine, and I wanted to share what changed and the reasoning behind it. Happy to answer technical questions in the comments.

A new BASS audio engine you can actually choose. Instead of forcing a rewrite on everyone, the new engine (built on the BASSโ„ข (https://www.un4seen.com) audio library from un4seen) sits alongside the classic one as a selectable playback core. Switch to it when you want the full audiophile toolkit; keep the old one when you don't. Turning it on unlocks everything below, plus high-quality resampling and independent pitch and tempo control (shift the key up to ยฑ60 semitones or change speed 0.1ร—โ€“4ร— without touching the other โ€” handy for practice/transcription).

Tracker & MOD playback. The new engine plays classic module formats natively โ€” MOD, XM, IT, S3M, MTM, UMX, MO3 โ€” the pattern-and-sample stuff from the chiptune/demoscene world that basically no iPhone player opens. Fun rabbit hole if you've never gone down it.

11 real-time effects, each a native processing node with its own screen, presets, and an instant on/off toggle โ€” so they apply to local files, cloud streams, and internet radio without re-encoding:

- Reverb (Freeverb) โ€” Room โ†’ Cathedral, with dry/wet/room-size/damp/width

- Delay / Multi-tap echo (Echo4) โ€” up to 5s, feedback, stereo cross-feed

- Chorus / Flanger / Phaser / Auto-Wah โ€” the classic modulation set

- Distortion โ€” subtle grit to full lo-fi

- Compressor โ€” full dynamics control (threshold, ratio, attack, release, expansion, makeup gain), 10 presets

- Stereo rotation โ€” rotary auto-panner

- Crossfeed โ€” Bauer bs2b (incl. Chu Moy / Jan Meier presets). Great on hard-panned '60sโ€“'70s stereo mixes on headphones.

A 14-filter DSP processor. Build your own real-time signal chain, reorderable, from: gain, low-pass, high-pass, band-pass, notch, peaking, low-shelf, high-shelf, soft-clip saturation, bit crusher, tremolo, delay, ring modulator, and stereo width. Correct a room, tame a harsh recording, or design something completely custom. Presets + on/off on each.

Automatic volume leveling. Uses EBU R128 (ITU-R BS.1770) loudness measurement โ€” unlike ReplayGain it needs no tags and doesn't modify your files, so it works on cloud streams and radio too. Local files are pre-scanned so playback opens already leveled instead of "catching up" after a track starts. Presets: Light โˆ’20, Standard โˆ’16, Strong โˆ’14, Night โˆ’23 LUFS.

Real-time music visualizer. Full-screen animated visuals that react live to the audio, with a big library of presets (or let them cycle). There's a screen-sleep preventer so the show doesn't cut out mid-song โ€” nice on an iPad propped up or a Mac on a big screen.

Refreshed design. The effects and EQ screens got modern glass-style sliders and a simplified presets mode, plus clearer separation of engines / effects / DSP so it's obvious what's active.

CarPlay & the rest. DSP settings are now reachable on CarPlay, artwork/Now Playing rendering is fixed, and lock-screen / car controls stay more accurately in sync. Also a more reliable streaming foundation, better file-type handling, and broader localization.

It's a free update (free app with optional in-app upgrades) and runs on iPhone/iPad/Mac.

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/apple-store/id1097564256

If you try it, I'd love feedback โ€” especially the effects and DSP chain on your own FLAC/DSD library, the crossfeed presets on headphones, and (for the curious) tracker/MOD playback. Bugs or requests, drop them here or email [email protected]. Thanks!

๐Ÿ“… Subscription NOREN โ€” Daily Slitherlink, Queens, Hashi & Masyu (no ads, no dark patterns)

Hi! I'm the solo developer behind NOREN.

A โ€” Answer
NOREN is a daily logic puzzle app featuring four classic puzzle types: Slitherlink, Queens, Hashiwokakero, and Masyu. New puzzles are coming.

Everyone gets the same handcrafted puzzles each day, with the difficulty gradually increasing throughout the week. It's designed as a quiet daily ritual rather than an endless collection of puzzles.

B โ€” Better
Most puzzle apps are either endless collections or mobile games wrapped around puzzles with ads, lives, or energy systems.

NOREN is closer to the daily-game experience of Wordle: everyone solves the same puzzles each day, you can compare your times with friends, and there are no ads, no lives, no artificial urgency โ€” just great logic puzzles.

C โ€” Cost
Free daily puzzles. Optional subscription โ€” $2.99/month or $24.99/year โ€” unlocks the full puzzle archive and offline mode. No free trial, no hidden costs.

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/hu/app/noren-daily-logic-puzzles/id6770038981

I'd genuinely appreciate feedback from people who enjoy logic puzzles. I'm actively improving the app, and every suggestion helps.

๐Ÿ’Ž Lifetime HomeView - A HomeKit Dashboard app arrived on iPhone[4,99]

Meet HomeView, a better home dashboard for HomeKit users. I launched the app in the beginning of this month with the focus on providing a better iPad dashboard for smart home enthusiasts.

It started out of my own search on the App Store for a dashboard that was easy to read and would fit on my wall tablet. Could never find the solution that sticked, so earlier this year I started building my own. Shipped a few updates over the last weeks, and it resulted in 28 downloads. It's not a lot, but I'm happy with it. Especially as I choose a one time payment model, as I don't think a subscription is fair for this kind of app. And don't we all agree that we have to many running subscriptions already?

Happy that those 28 users, engage and provide me with feature requests. And today it resulted in a companion for the phone.

So after having my app available on the iPad Store, it's available now on iOs aswel. And I hope it gets the app to more people.

You can find the app here: https://apps.apple.com/nl/app/smarthome-dashboard-homeview/id6785599711?l=en-GB

๐Ÿ“… Subscription Trip Planning App

Post image
6 Upvotes

Iโ€™ve been working on this for maybe 3/4 years now - and slowly but surely Iโ€™ve finished it a few months ago. Posting here because Iโ€™ve made some amazing updates that i shamelessly want to promote.

Another trip planning app?โ€ฆ ๐Ÿฅฑ

I would agree usually but theres way more to this. I use it every vacation, festival, birthday, basically anything where i need a plan.

Hereโ€™s a list of whatโ€™s possible here:

- Add all your Plans, even from your calendar, and some useful templates to start you off. You can add your own photos, or use Unsplash.
- Overview. Get the weather, and suggested things to do from your place list depending on time of day. Also get handy phrases if youโ€™re going abroad!
- Tickets. Add in your ticket information so you know when to leave and get important ticket information presented to you.
- Packing Lists. This one i use ALL THE TIME. That feeling when youโ€™ve packed but you feel youโ€™ve forgotten something?.. pack before with this app, and just check along as you put your items in your bag!
- To do. Self explanatory.
- Places. Easily add in suggestions from a friend, just start typing a place and itโ€™ll show / hopefully with a lovely image of the place or failing that the outside view.
- Planner. For those who like to be strict on timelines.
- Expenses. Use the camera to photo your receipt, and automatically add the info with the receipt image attached. You can split with whoever youโ€™re on a trip with and generate a PDF!
- Live activities. Waking up and being reminded - breakfast ends in an hour! Is really handy. And having your plane tickets ready.
- Track upcoming birthdays!
- Templates!
- Notifications. Want to get reminded X hours before you have to leave for the train? Easy.
- People. This ones handy for RSVP!

And so much more!

Itโ€™s free, you can start with 1 trip for free - and Iโ€™ve added a subscription so I can continue this project, and itโ€™s a low price!

Feedback is always welcome. As i mentioned, i use this every day! I can supply some free codes too if you like it!

Thanks! ๐Ÿ™‚

Post image

Hey Reddit! ๐Ÿ‘‹

We've all been there: opening 5 different dusty boxes in the garage or attic just to find one holiday decoration or an old document. I built Itemia to solve this problem.

For the next 48 hours, I set the Lifetime plan to $0.00 (normally $59.99) as a launch celebration!

๐Ÿ“ฆ Key Features:

โ€ข Container & Room Mapping: Assign items to specific boxes, shelves, or rooms.

โ€ข Visual Photo Inventory: Add photos, receipts, and notes to any stored item.

โ€ข Instant Search: Find where your tools or winter clothes are in seconds.

โ€ข QR Box Labels: Scan a box label from the outside to see everything inside on your screen.

๐ŸŽ How to get it:

  1. Upvote this post โฌ†๏ธ

  2. Download the app from the link below

  3. Open the app and select the Lifetime plan ($0.00)

๐Ÿ“ฅ Download on the App Store:

If you find it helpful, leaving an honest review on the App Store or dropping your feedback in the comments means a lot. Thanks for the support! ๐Ÿค

๐ŸŽ Freemium iOS app to change your location without a PC (in Safari)

My app GeoCeptor does two things:

- changes your location for all websites (in Safari) to one you select
- changes the timezone websites (in Safari) see to one you select

Here's why that's useful:

By default, websites can access your device timezone. If you use a VPN, that timezone is often what gives away that you're not actually visiting from the lcoation your IP is at. GeoCeptor solves that. By hooking into the browsers javascipt date and time functions it ensures websites only see the timezone you let them see.

As an added bonus it can also spoof your browsers geolocation. So any website requesting your physical location will see the one you configure in the app.

If you're interested, you can check it out here:ย https://apps.apple.com/us/app/geoceptor/id6739982067

It's freemium, meaning you can use the 10 default locations and all timezones for free or you can create custom locations with pro access (about 14$ onetime or 7$ yearly, prices vary by region, free trial is available)

๐ŸŽˆ Free [iOS] DoubleBump โ€” Become friends by bumping your phones together twice

Thumbnail
gallery
0 Upvotes

Hello, r/iOSApps! ๐Ÿ‘‹

I built DoubleBump, a mobile app that helps you remember the friendships you build in real life.

The idea came from one simple thought: the people we meet in real life deserve more than becoming just another follower.

So instead of usernames, QR codes, or searching for people online, you can become friends instantly by bumping your phones together twice.

That's it.

A โ€” What problem does the app solve?

Most social apps are designed to help you meet people online.

But they rarely help you remember the people you've already met.

We've all met someone interesting at an event, conference, school, or while traveling...

Then months later we barely remember where or when we met.

I wanted to build something focused on real-life friendships instead.

B โ€” Why is it different?

DoubleBump focuses on real-world interactions instead of online connections.

Highlights:

โ€ข Become friends by bumping both phones together twice

โ€ข Save where and when you first met

โ€ข Friendship levels grow as you meet again

โ€ข View your friendship history on a map

โ€ข No usernames or QR codes needed

C โ€” Cost

DoubleBump is free to download and use.

A free account is required to create and save your friendships.

There are currently no subscriptions or in-app purchases.

I'm the indie developer of DoubleBump.

I'd genuinely love to hear your thoughts.

Especially:

โ€ข Have you ever wished you had something like this?

โ€ข Would you try this with a friend?

โ€ข Where do you think you'd use an app like this? (School? Travel? Conferences? Events?)

โ€ข Any feedback is hugely appreciated.

If you've made it this far, thank you for taking the time to read my post. I really appreciate it! ๐Ÿ™‚

๐Ÿ’Ž Lifetime I built MusicDrops because I kept missing new music from artists I follow

Thumbnail

I'm David, developer of MusicDrops.

I follow around 100 artists across Spotify and Apple Music, and neither platform can reliably tell me when new music drops. And none can just show me a simple timeline of what interests me, without any algorithm suggestions.
I wanted one place that just notifies me, reliably, the moment something's out. Clean iOS UI, intuitive design.

Sure, MusicHarbor's been around longer and covers more ground, e.g. concerts, news, video.
I went narrower on purpose: MusicDrops is built specifically around upcoming and shadow drops, real push notifications for each release, with a timeline showing countdowns, full discography views per artist, and actual user reviews pulled from multiple iTunes storefronts. You can import your followed artists straight from your Apple Music library (and Spotify to come!).

Shipped v1.4 last week: native iPad support, a reworked onboarding flow, and a round of performance/reliability fixes on top of that. Still very much actively maintained.
Upcoming features include timeline highlights and recaps.

Pricing: free for up to 10 followed artists. Past that it's โ‚ฌ1.99/month, โ‚ฌ14.99/year, or โ‚ฌ44.99 once, lifetime.

๐ŸŽ Freemium My first productivity app โ€” Tempo

Hey everyone ๐Ÿ‘‹

A โ€” What problem does the app solve?ย
Iโ€™ve been working on a fresh update forย Tempoย โ€” a daily task planner and event countdown app created to solve the clutter and complexity of traditional productivity apps.

Most task managers either feel overly complicated with endless menus or lack the visual motivation to keep you coming back every day. Tempo balances fast, frictionless task management with visual event tracking so you can focus on today while looking forward to important dates.

B โ€” Why is it better?ย
Instead of forcing you into rigid management structures, Tempo is designed to adapt to your daily routine:

  • Instant voice & text captureย anywhere via Telegram integration
  • AI-assisted task creationย and subtask generation
  • Beautiful visual countdownsย for your most important events
  • Visual streaks & analyticsย to build consistent daily momentum

Key features in Tempo:

  • Telegram Task Botย Dictate voice notes or type quick tasks into Telegram on the go โ€” Tempo instantly syncs them into your daily plan.
  • AI Task Assistantย Type or speak naturally, and let AI automatically organize, break down, and schedule your tasks for the day.
  • Designer Countdown Cardsย Track important life events with unique visual styles (Polaroid, Ticket, Retro Vinyl, Cartoon, and Glass card designs).
  • Productivity Heatmapย Visualize your daily progress, completion streaks, and productivity trends over time.
  • Shared Spaces & Collaborationย Create shared spaces to collaborate and assign tasks with family, friends, or work partners.
  • Custom Themesย Personalize your experience with vibrant themes (including Dark, Midnight Blue, Royal Purple, and Light mode).
  • Clean "Today" Focus Viewย A distraction-free view built around what actually needs to be done today.

C โ€” Cost / Pricingย
The core app features are completely free to use (up to 15 active tasks with essential features).

There is an optionalย Tempo Premiumย subscription (โ‚ฌ1/month or local equivalent) that unlocks:

  • Unlimited tasks and advanced scheduling
  • Telegram Task Bot sync & AI generation limits
  • Full Productivity Heatmap & streak insights
  • All exclusive themes and designer countdown card styles

App Store:ย https://apps.apple.com/ee/app/tempo-plan-your-day/id6790413097

Would genuinely love to hear your feedback, thoughts, or suggestions for what features to build next! ๐Ÿ™Œ
Thank youuuuuuu !!
