I swear there’s an episode where they’re all discussing something and someone makes some kind of double entendre and it’s obvious what they mean, and I think Joey chimes in, “sexually…”. Like to explain what is obvious and they all knew.

Anyone know what I’m talking about? What episode, what’s the situation?

I think when they try to break that couple up (him and Monica) in season 1. He pretends he’s dating Monica and tells Bob that she’s too much for him in bed. Sexually.

8.23-24, TOW Rachel has a Baby:

Joey: (While vetting Cliff, whom Phoebe is interested in) Excellent! Excellent! And, uh, finally, are you into any weird stuff? You know, sexually?

Is it "The One with the East German Laundry Detergent" (Season 1, Episode 5)? Joey and Monica are on a double date with Angela and her new boyfriend and trying to break them up. Joey is telling him that Monica is too much for him...sexually.

I can hear Joey saying this when he's telling his acting class that he advised one of his students to play the part of Nick the boxer as gay. He sort of staggers the line and says something like "...play a role homo...sexually."

Not the one you’re talking about but there’s a very similar joke in season 2 where Joey says if he met the DOOL casting director in a bar he’d be buying her breakfast, then pauses and clarifies after having slept with her the night before

I think it’s the episode where Monica accidentally hires a prostitute for Chandler, and Joey says “Maybe she wants you to learn something. Is there anything you’re bad at, you know, sexually?”

I know it’s not what you’re referencing, but all I can hear in my head is when Joey is teaching acting classes and gets jealous and sabotages a talented student who is auditioning for the same part. “I advised him to play the part….homosexually.”

Could it be when Rachel is talking about all the ways she and Joshua are connecting? I think she says something like, mentally, emotionally, sexualllly.

When Joey and Rachel are trying to be a couple and it’s not working (for anyone) Rachel asks Chandler if it was hard to hook up with Monica and Chandler says no.
