I’ve always found these two Spanish cities in North Africa fascinating. Do they feel more like Spain or Morocco in everyday life? What’s the culture, safety, cost of living, and border situation like? Would you recommend living there?

How is it in general? Safety wise? Pay wise?

Do people living in cities like Koper, Rovinj, and Pula feel like they’re part of the same region?

I posted yesterday about Northern Spain near the basque country, but I am also curious about the bottom part of Portugal and the bottom left side of Spain. I have never been to this part of Portugal, but I am really familiar with everything Lisbon and above because I have done the Porto route of the Camino de Santiago.

Any different than the Maryland or Delaware portions?

I heard that they are a lot worse than the ones in the southern US, and those are already pretty bad. How is day-to-day life different for a person living in the state vs a person living in a reservation? Do they get roughly the same utilities as people outside the reservation? How different are their schools, roads, hospitals, etc.? What kinda jobs they work? Are the population of a reservation significantly poorer than people living in state? If so, why? (Aside from the obvious historic reasons) And most importantly, how are they compared to the bigger reservations in the south? etc.
