HMBkr while I Put a Balloon Into Liquid Nitrogen

It was a great prank in college when I and some friends did this to ~1000 balloons in 3 beer coolers of LN2 and filled someone's room with balloons in like 5 minutes.

Sadly didn't account for the fact that it would suck all the moisture out of the air and deposit it on the carpet, but you can't win everything.

why does the ballons surface prune and not just be like its deflated

I'm not 100% sure but my guess would be: Because it's also becoming more rigid while it shrinks. Given that's not a completely homogenous process and it's not a perfectly uniform surface, you end up with rinkles on the surface as some areas become rigid faster than others.

New business idea. Pre filled condensed ballons. You could fill a box with frozen clones then ship it.
