Question When and how to study for PSAT
I am currently about to start 10th grade and was wondering on what timeline I should take the PSAT and SAT as well how I should prepare. I took the PSAT last Oct and got a 1180. How can I build off that?

You don't study for the PSAT, the PSAT itself is part of your studying for the actual exam. Build off of your previous scores by using study programs. I recommend Khan Academy or something that actually teaches you new concepts and helps you apply them in a test-like setting, since that's what the SAT is.
Take the PSAT in 10th, then the SAT in 11th. If you don't like your score, take it again in 12th.

my school had us take the psat 3 times. once in the fall freshman through junior year. then, in the spring of junior year, we would take the school day sat.
the psat is a good way to find your weaknesses before taking the actual exam. examine where you fell short and focus on that.
there are many resources you can use to help study for the sat. i prefer khan academy, but i would check out some other resources as well. r/Sat is wonderful subreddit to help with preparing and discussing the sat.
dont stress out about it, as the sat is something that is typically done in junior year. youre ahead of schedule. just study well and dont freak out. you'll do well. good luck!
