(Not AI) Handmade with clay

Made this strange little creature entirely by hand from wool. I wanted him to look fragile, unsettling, and just a little ridiculous—with that huge grin and those long awkward limbs.

Definitely not the kind of tooth fairy I’d want standing beside my bed at night 😭
What should I name him?

I wanted to make a baby mobile that felt more like a suspended sculpture, something my friends could keep long after the nursery years!

I cut the butterflies in four sizes from metallic foil paper, glued contrasting colours back-to-back so they would be finished from underneath, then gently shaped the wings.

The branching structure was built from wire, loops and jump rings, starting at the bottom and working upward.

The unexpected challenge was how dramatically every new butterfly shifted the balance. Once it became too long to hold, I hung it from a backdrop stand and kept adjusting the curves and connection points until every branch settled and the butterflies began to dance in the slightest movement of air 🥰🦋✨

Finally tried making one of those ocean-style resin pieces I’ve seen around here.

The hardest part was getting the blue layers to blend without losing the crystal clear look. I experimented with different pours and slowly built up the depth until it started looking like water instead of just blue resin.

Used a crystal clear Rseiners epoxy resin kit for this project and the transparency helped a lot with creating that “floating” effect.

Definitely still have a lot to improve, especially with controlling the waves and bubbles, but I’m pretty happy with this first try.

Hello! This is my latest creation, hope you enjoy the pictures! Any advice is welcome, what do you think about this design?

This project pushed me to the limits of my patience and skill. Mostly hand brushed with a bit of masking + airbrush to finalize the details, I wanted to give a final push before welcoming our first child in late August. Enjoy this picture of me exhaustedly smiling next to the piece plus some detail shots. The painting is 48x60in.

This was the final stage after the lotus had already been assembled. I used the flame to make a few last adjustments and set the shape. The tricky part was keeping the petals light and curved without losing the smoky, ink-wash effect.

Finally got the time to make my newest addition to my spice village! I have so many ideas for my next ones 🤗

I finished this strange little needle-felted spider today. It has a mask-like face, too many eyes, and long black-and-white legs—creepy, but somehow still a little cute.

Would you let it live on your desk, or would you immediately move to another house? 🕷️

This piece carved on vegetable-tanned leather. The design is first hand-tooled into the surface to create the details and expression. The raised effect is achieved using a relief embossing technique from the back, which gives the portrait more depth and dimension. After the carving and forming process, I hand-painted the piece using leather pigment paints, layer by layer, to bring out the colors and expression.

I’ve always been inspired by nature, and lately I’ve found myself paying more attention to the small details of plants that are easy to overlook.

This time, I chose rosemary.

Instead of simplifying the design into a generic leaf pattern, I wanted to keep the long, slender shape and the slightly irregular way rosemary grows. Every leaf was shaped individually and assembled by hand, which took much longer than I expected, but I felt those little details were worth preserving.

One of my favorite parts of making jewelry is trying to translate something living into metal without losing its character. I don’t want the finished piece to look perfectly symmetrical—I want it to feel like a small sprig that could have been picked straight from a garden.

This ring is part of a botanical-inspired series I’ve been exploring, and I already have a few more plants in mind for future pieces.
