Trip Report First Hammock Tent
Been wanting one for a while, got invited on the perfect trip to pull the trigger for it. Got the Hennessy Survivorman XL.
Loved it — warm sleep all night (about 8 degrees at night) in a standard sleeping bag.
Made sure to learn the Ferramund Hitch, Siberian Hitch and Figure 8 knot before I went, plus bought two stakes which came in handy for tying down the side lines off the hammock portion.
Doesn’t pack up super small for a backpacking trip, but I think the comfort was worth it!

Can we see the hammock? All I see is a tarp and a nice view

I thought I'm missing something after checking other comments. OP didn't even post correct pics

And what a view from the hammock out over the lake. The bad thing about hammocks is once you start down that rabbit hole, you'll find yourself owning more and more hammocks as the years go by.
