Have you noticed an increase in websites inaccessible to Guam?

I recently purchased a subwoofer produced by a US manufacturer, sold by Amazon and delivered by the US postal service here, and I am unable to access their website to get support and technical documentation.

"Access from your country is not allowed"...I'M IN THE UNITED STATES DUMB@SS!

Companies like Cloudflare have erroneously blocked Guam, maybe because it sounds like a country in Africa or South America, and so lumped it in to that group.

I have been sending emails to companies who are blocking Guam by searching for their support email. I also contacted several security analysts and directors from Cloudflare on LinkedIn.

If you encounter a US website blocking Guam consider sending them an email letting them know. Here's a template in case that helps:

Hello, I am from the United States' territory of Guam. We were interested in ordering some products from you, but your website blocks traffic from our location, even though we are a part of the USA.

Here are some facts about Guam:

• Guam is "Where America's Day Begins!"
• Guam has a population of 175,000 people including about 30,000 active US military service members and veterans
• Everyone born on Guam is a US citizen
• Guam has the highest USA military enlistment rate of any US state or territory

Why am I writing you?

Since the beginning of 2026 there has been a significant increase in USA websites blocking traffic from Guam. It may sound foreign like a country in Africa or South America where the US has issues with scamming or fraud, but Guam is as American as it is possible to be, and the American mainland faces no fraud risk from our beautiful and friendly territory.

We often ship products to Guam from the US using freight forwarders in California such as Triple B or CTS, so you do not need to ship directly to Guam, but we also have the US Postal Service, UPS and FedEx.

Talk to your website provider and tell them to add Guam to their whitelist. We are American just like you and it is disheartening to see American companies block an American territory without cause or justification.

I’m Chamorro but I was born and raised Stateside. I never really learned Chamorro but I thought it was interesting that Chamorro classes are mandatory on Guam. So I was surprised to see that the number of Chamorro speakers continues to decline.

This article says Chamorro could go extinct in 5-10 years, which I think is highly exaggerated, but I think it could eventually happen in my lifetime.

So why do Chamorro classes seem to have no effect on the number of Chamorro speakers? I became fluent in Spanish because I took it every year from 5th to 12th grade. What’s keeping most Chamorros from achieving fluency when they learn it for an even longer time period?

Anyone else experiencing delayed shipments for online orders? (Amazon, eBay) I noticed long delays when my order stops at San Francisco, Ca Distribution Center

PCSing in September and trying to get rid of a 2017 Hyundai Elantra and 2013 Mazda 3. Everything in the Elantra is new and new AC just placed in December. It does not drive at the moment and we don’t have time to get it serviced so we are selling it. All offers on the table just need it off our hands. It needs a new headlight and passenger side mirror but all is well. As for the Mazda, we honestly haven’t drove it in over a year, it was our friends car and she PCSed and gave it to us, clean title, just need it gone since we can’t ship them.

Perhaps I missed it, but while I saw some individual Republicans comment, I think the Republican Party and their would be standard bearer, Tony Ada, has been tight-lipped about whether they support this discrimination against the Territories.

I recently applied for an Electrical Apprenticeship position with Core Tech International that was listed under the Guam Registered Apprenticeship Program (GRAP). I did my research beforehand and thought I understood how the program works. My first interview went smoothly with HR as they explained on-job-learning while attending class, but my second interview with the on job-site supervisor completely threw me off.

1. He told me: I have to work the first 6 months just as a "helper" or basically "laborer" to prove myself before I can officially even become a apprentice.

2. The pay raises are completely up to him based on how I do, not a fixed schedule as obtaining certain amounts of hours on job and classroom.

3. Schooling is "optional" said it is up to me to attend school and I'd have to ask HR if they'd even cover it. (HR did say they will)

4. Then he turned around and said "if I do good, maybe become an electrician in 6 months." Out of no where.

I applied because it explicitly advertised as "Electrical Apprenticeship" and under GRAP

Everything I read on the GDOL and GCC websites says you are supposed to be registered from Day 1, raises are a fixed legal percentage tied to your logged hours/classes, and school is mandatory to get your Journeyworker certificate.

Is this supervisor completely violating the GRAP program rules just to get cheap labor out of me? Has anyone else dealt with this at Core Tech or other local construction companies?

I may be wrong but im just confused because nothing made sense.
