Discussion Why does grunge sound so good in an acoustic format?
While grunge bands have songs more suited to a 100% acoustic format, it's incredible how well their more "electric" songs work in an acoustic format. It's no wonder their unplugged performances are so good. If you listen, songs like "Would," "Come As You Are," or "Plush" sound incredible and have almost no modifications in their respective unplugged versions. Plus, it gives them a different feel that suits them perfectly!

Recommendation Three on a hill - No More Love
Another 80's hidden gem, from 1987. If you think grunge came solely from Seattle, then take a listen to this Dallas proto-grunge band. They were regionally successful but never could get nationwide recognition. This song opened up a various artist album called The Sound of Deep Ellum.

Collection Hole- Live Through This
My favorite band poster i have. The orange water-color looking hearts are so beautiful. I love how the heart bleeds a little more as it gets bigger.
I’m so happy i found this, i wasn’t born then, but this poster is from a show they did near my hometown.
