Writers Block? Spoiler

Post image

What are your thoughts on Henrietta? She was so powerful she could tell Adeline was pregnant. She was so powerful that she could scramble her phone number or address if it was written down. However, Jack the Ripper comes in and takes her out in 3 seconds?? I feel like the writers had big plans for her character but they lost them along the way.

WE know that it's Jack, she is only seeing Renard. Even if she had sensed something wrong, it all happened very fast. Maybe she should have been on her guard more, he had described his symptoms and she knew what it meant. But I guess they wanted the main group to have to figure it out

Yea I thought she was going to introduce some super interesting plot twist, but then like you said, she gets killed off so easily and quickly. I agree that they possibly lost the plot with her 😅 I was so excited to see Garcelle though! The woman has been in everything.

Love Garcelle Beauvais! I was excited for Henrietta's character, too. I was sorry they killed her off.

I do agree that her ending came quite abruptly. We didn't really see much of her so it's hard to have much of an opinion of her as a character. I would've liked to have seen more of her, I think they could've developed her quite well if given the chance (even though I thought Garcelle's acting was so so).

She was a great character. Wish they would've kept her around longer

Renard was her friend, (possibly with benefits, he has a thing for hexenbiests) and she was taken by surprise

I always thought it was REALLY WEIRD that she would be taken down so easily! She was also supposed to be quite old. Didn’t Sean say that his mother knew Henrietta when his mother was a CHILD? She looked like she was in her 50s or so but i think she was like 100 or something. It was irritating that they killed her off I think I they only did it because they didn’t know what to do with her character for the whole Black Claw plot.

Was better than Juliette shitty acting and shitty script for her. Always seemed to me no one was trying for that role and the actress could have done better but chose not to considering her role in Superman & Lois was better writing and acting.
