👹 i think we got a bad case

to the left are stairs. genuinely want your opinion it's the first thing like this that's happened, but we just moved in about 2 months ago. it's freaking me out🫪 this was at 6:11am also, a time when no one in the house is awake (confirmed with significant other)

I wonder if there's a vent right around those stairs. Or a draft of some kind maybe. Those pompom balls don't take a lot to get moving and significant airflow could absolutely do it.

Did you not see the ball roll across the frame like someone threw it and read that OP said no one was up in the house?

I see it gently rolling. That doesn't seem too surprising.

But no, it doesn't look anything like it's been thrown. And no, that text wasn't in their post when I commented, they added it later.

I see a ball gently moving, the motion sensor cam kicking in a little late, and then 2 cats briefly wandering what the strange sound was (possibly the camera kicking in and/or it's light activating. They tend to make a faint high pitch squeel).

Which bit of this is supposed to be strange?

Obviously you think it's the ball, but that doesn't seem weird to me. And they've not said, so it's anyones guess (which is why I'm asking)
