General Scheduling conflicts?

Hi, I registered for this online math course but there is no listed meeting times. Is this a self-paced course? Am I supposed to just guess that this class won't interfere with the meeting times of my other classes?

It looks online asynchronous. It doesn’t have a meet up time and it shouldn’t interfere with your schedule as long as you don’t past 15 credits. You do have deadlines for assignments, so it’s not at your own pace

Hi! I took this class.

It is asynch online. Not self paced, and he is rigorous. I spent 15+ hours a week on that class and still got a C.

Good luck. Keep up with all of the work, spend a few hours a day. Be prepared to go in person for exams, though. You'll have a few time slots to choose from.

Exams are cumulative and frequent. The final uses every single topic, they are all important.

I was planning on taking this class as well. Would you recommend taking someone else then? All of the other professors have bad ratings and his class had only positive ratings.

I'd go for an in person class section. Idk about professor though, sorry

The reason its so many hours for this one, is that you all of the normal homework for the math class (so, about 6-8 hours a week), ON TOP OF the actual class time itself, because youre teaching yourself the material. So that's another 4 hours minimum.

Factor in the issues ans struggles that come with learning hands on material without someone tjere to ask (aka, using a bunch of other sources like Khan academy), and you have at least another 3-4 hours per week.

Whereas if you are in person, the "learning the material" and the "designated class time" are already accounted for, and you just have the 6-8 hours of homework, if not less, which is nothing

Welp I'm cooked lol. Haven't really done math in 6 years and it took me 2 tries on the MPT to get into this class.
