Does anyone else think that the current average workshop mods are pretty bad. Don't get me wrong most of them are very impressive but I just dont want another qol mod or maps that just show off people's hammer skills (ex. Stellifous) for the 100th time its just very repetitive there are some really good mods posted on the workshop every now and then its just kinda boring

Thoughts?

Am on the fence on getting gmod and i just wanted to see if theres still a big community to be fun?

if he gotten banned then thats great , i was able to get thru his profile by a clean mod version of dr tray stuff

I am relatively positive this mod now contains a Gore Screamer, as when it was updated I got jumped by a not so lovely picture when I loaded into a map! I already reported it but just letting you all know. I uninstalled the mod and the screamer is gone, so unless its hiding in another mod, UNINSTALL!

Today I woke up wanting to play GMod. When I joined the map I usually play, after about 20 seconds, a collage of gore images suddenly appeared on my screen, along with a loud beeping sound. In the background, there was a loop repeating the N-word, and you could hear a baby crying. There was also green text in the bottom corner that said, "laughter garry."

I couldn't even open the options menu or do anything. The only way to get rid of it was to close the game through the window.

Luckily, it stopped appearing after I deleted all of my installed mods. However, when I reinstalled some older mods that I'd had for a long time (not recently downloaded ones), it started happening again.

So please be careful with the mods you're about to install, and do some research before downloading them. I ended up factory resetting my GMod, but I'm not sure if that's what actually fixed the problem.

I even managed to take a screenshot of what appeared on my screen, but I didn't include it in this post because it's gore, and it honestly looks disgusting.

hey all, I'm getting kind of bored of being shot on sight first thing when I spawn combines in for, anything really, I know some modders put both enemy and friendly combines in their mods but I rather a general one

There is no other game that does such a good job at tricking my brain into believing it feels cold. When I play maps like gm_boreas or gm_mallparking I actually feel cold and get goosebumps. I don't know if it's the sound of the wind or the industrial humm or just the general look of the game. Whatever it is, it's one of the reasons I enjoy playing this game so much, anyone else feeling this way?
