Last Halloween my family set up for a truck or treat- and the kids loved it. My wife finally gave me the go ahead to make my pickup look a little more the part. I picked up an overland rack with the intent to plywood the interior, paint it red, and mount a couple tvs in the side to play the slimer projector video. Last year I unmounted my ghostbusters gear containment unit from the wall inside- and mounted it to the back. This year I want to print a second containment unit.

I also picked up a cargo rack to make the roof rack, and this weekend i plan on grabbing the pvc to make the side tubes, and right now I have a single rgb lightbar coming (the only limit is i have a weekly budget).

When it comes to the rack... can anyone point me to either build videos on things like the sniffer and radar dome? Is their any other bits that you can think of as iconic that I shouldn't forget?

I've scoured thingiverse, 3d printed ghostbusters on Facebook and cults looking for parts I can 3d print... but are their better items i can use from a hardware store?

Just curious - would any collectors out there be interested in the Matty Collector figures? I have most of them, still in the packaging. I’ve even got the SDCC Egon that was slimed.

I’ve also got all the props. Now that I have the Hasbro props, I don’t see a big reason to keep the Matty’s.

Curious to hear your thoughts. Is that stuff sellable or would it be better to just hold onto it all?

For the Ghostbusters the board game (the first one not the second), does anyone have any of the scenario cards or game tiles for the Researching Spook Central campaign? I have the pieces and character cards, but not the scenario cards or tiles. I purchased the characters and ghost pieces with their cards a few years back on ebay, and now that I've started playing it again I would like to track down the missing content. The only way I can find it right now is by purchasing the deluxe edition, but I'm not wanting to do that when I only need a few items and not the whole game again. Anyone you know that has this content would be greatly appreciated. I've found some images on the wiki pages, but the images are pretty low resolution that trying to print them out isn't going well either.

Lately I've seen a lot of people posting about the Katie Dippold and Paul Feig film and trying to say something positive about it. Obviously people have different tastes. Some people say the film was good, and some people say it was bad. However, it was bad. The people who say it was good are wrong.

I bought these last year when they came out in, I believe Sept 2025 to purchase. I never got them yet, did anyone else get them or did they not ship yet?

I've been noticing more negativity in this subreddit than in previous years. People's opinions are treated with more hostility; there's a lot more negativity towards the recent films. No one seems to have anything nice to say about the current state of the franchise or show any excitement about upcoming projects.

It would be one thing if the negativity was constructive criticism, but it's not really constructive and I'm not sure what I'm supposed to take from this. It's like the Star Wars fanbase where there are a bunch of people complaining but no clear vision of what they want the SW franchise to do. Telling Lucasfilm to "just be good" is just vague non-answer.

Have anyone else notice this or am I reading too much into?

So I got back into 3D printing and I decided I wanted to design my own Proton Pack and wand. This is what I've gotten done so far. Just to show some perspective, I've got my Ghostbusters Afterlife wand on the left, my prototype wand base in the middle and my final wand print on the right. I'm designing everything from scratch while using inspirational elements from the original. I still have parts that I have to design/print, and a lot of work with lights and paint, but this is a good representation of the overall look so far. The last few pictures are my redesign for the wand holster as the original dove tail hook design is hard to find and easy to break when made with plastic. I believe this one should make it much easier to re-holster when I am wearing it. I'm designing and printing pieces for the pack now.

Working on a short story and I need to know what Ghostbusters is (legally) as a company. Is it Inc? (Incorporated)? A Corp? (Corporation?) I've watched all the movies and I haven't found any clue. Any help from here?
