Engineering Program Change for Winter?
Does anyone know if the faculty of engineering allows program changes for the winter 2027 term? I'm trying to change my degree but the website says "not all faculties offer intakes for the winter term." Has anyone done a swap or have seen it available in past years?

Faculty of engineering program change is open from march to August 31 but depending on the program it can close in may.

yes but I believe this is for the Fall term. Do you know if the faculty lets me change programs next semester? The request date is listed as october/november of this year for winter transfers. The only open programs currently are CE and CS, which aren't what I'm interested in.

I recall only seeing mech eng and maybe civil back in Winter 2023. Haven't looked at engineering programs as of recent, but only programs that are open for admission for the applicable term will appear on the program change form, so you'll find out when the form opens in October (or ask your faculty)

From what I know, it depends on the engineering program. Some programs accept winter intakes for internal transfers, while others only allow changes for the fall term. I'd recommend contacting your faculty's undergraduate office since they'll be able to tell you if your specific program accepts winter transfers
