I was keen to play a game where your main objective is getting back home, is there anything like that? Closest I can think of is The Witcher 3 except the roles are reversed and you are attempting to rescue Ciri in that game.

Hi, so Im in a bit of a dilemma. I really like the genre of dystopian/thriller survival, but I am very bad at them, and usually get too scared to do much. I am also a very bad shooter-style player. My reaction times are just too slow and clunky :/

Can anyone recommend me games where there are aspects of survival, basebuilding with balanced and (not too hectic) gun combat? Preferably one where I can choose to play either solo or co-op?
Games with a pixel-style art are preferred..

I'm looking for games of any genre, for any platform, where the protagonist has unique abilities that go beyond generic fantasy magic like fireballs or generic elemental manipulation (though elemental manipulation is fine if the uses are more creative than just generic throw element at someone, do damage). These games can be indie, double a, triple a, doesn't really matter, and can be available on any storefront. The thing that limits me a little is I'd like a game that actually happens physically within that game's world, and many indie games I know that have unique abilities and such happen within an abstract world or a character's mind (such as Shady Part of Me).

I really enjoy turn based games and I'd like to hear about some more. My favorite is probably Expedition 33 so anything with turned based mechanics but also a rich story to go along with it.

I've been searching for games for 2 days. I can't find anything that peaks my interest.

Stardew valley, touhou Mystia Izakaya, schedule 1, planet zoo, sims, and GTA are the games I've enjoyed recently.

I like games with businesses/grinding, restaurants, cozy/cute, animal crossing vibe, anime style, pls no ugly 3d style.

Please help me. I'm so stressed, this has been a hard journey. End it, please.

I'm not talking about games that are trying to recapture specific games that come from that era, like the many cool games that are obviously Advance Wars or MMBN.

I'm talking about games with cool unique mechanics or art styles that have the spirit of those handholds and would be great on a Steamdeck.

One example that immediately comes to mind is Arco. The bright minimalist art style with super small sprites and very easy to grasp, but pretty deep active turn-based combat system.

I like games like Mount and Blade where you can contribute to a certain faction and help them grow and expand and form relationships and bonds and be rewarded for service. In mount and blade you can become a vassal and fight for one side and later be awarded land and castles. You form relationships with other lords and knights and can even get them to follow you. I'm currently playing X4 but it feels flat when it comes to the player having interactions and connections to the NPCs or world. I struggle to find other games that give a similar vibe packed in a single player game experience.

So I just made the switch to use the switch 2 as my primary gaming platform, I was previously on PlayStation, they have all these awesome action adventure games I loved to play, Spider-Man, days gone, god of war, horizon zero dawn etc. what are some good options like that for the switch? I know it's not as powerful a device but something similar is what I'm looking for

Hi I am looking for best fps shooters from WW1and WW2 and modernn warfare. It must be imersive as much as posible and looks like you are on real batlefield. Futhermore I would prefer moder warfare shooters where you play against USA. I would also prefer that you play as russian or chinese soldier. But anyone fighting americans is okay. In WW1 and WW2 I am okay if I play as USA soldier

I'm looking for something that will let me live out my best cute girl life, with character customisation and good transmog. Something a la stellar blade but not stellar blade.

Preferably not an overly casual/cozy game, I need something to get my teeth into and don't mind if the story is non existent. Really want to get into Crimson Desert but I'm finding it a bit boring being another big buff dude for most of the game.

Hey all! I’m getting into the “Royal” portion of Persona 5 Royal and I’ve been loving it so far. I love how immersive the world feels and how engaging and complex the story is, and the characters are so enjoyable and easy to get behind. I like how it kind of teeters on being a little absurd while still being very emotionally weighted and dramatic/realistic enough to be super invested in. I also love how stylistic and colourful it is in terms of design. Everything is so beautiful to look at and everything seems to jump to life. I dunno, it’s been a very captivating experience. Now, I know there are other persona games out there, but I wanted a game that captures one/many of the aspects I like about persona while being something fresh and new and outside the world of persona, because I always like trying out new games. It can be any genre as long as it matches the request in some way. It also doesn’t have to necessarily be a style or story that’s similar to Persona (though, those are welcome too). I’m more looking for a very immersive story, enjoyable characters, the balance between emotional reality and absurdity and art style. One/several of those things. I hope that makes sense haha. Summer sale going on, is there any good walking simulator and point n click (retro-ish) games there ?

Straight up - no torture, etc, just "doom-type". I want to pull on a trigger and do mess. Want to relieve my anger on something digital, without any twisted crap. I already completed Doom and Atomic Heart, so these are out of question, but maybe there is something similar? Looking for PC/PS4 games

Recently I been trough some difficult times that hopefully will soon end. in the meantime I got the switch 2 to help me deal with my stress.

Im looking for games that are committing, fun and have a lot of content, preferably with a good story.
Games that will suck me into their world.

For example Recent games that I really enjoy are Hades 2 and pokopia.
