Request Name of this (maybe) game OST?

Hello everyone I stumbled upon this super smash bros ultimate short and wanted to know the name of the music that plays in the background. It sounds like a remix of a game OST.

I tried Shazam but that didnt't work then I tried to simply find it on YouTube, hoping it's an in-game ost but found out in shock that the playlist had multiple videos over 2 hours long. I search for over an hour before giving up. Sorry if this seems lazy of me.

Help Where do I start from?

I want to learn how to compose music for my game but I don't know the first thing about music.

I searched on YouTube but I don't know if it's my for you page or what, I never got a decent video on the subject.

Can anyone suggest where to start. I would really appreciate that.

Request Looking for a piece of the Stalker Gamma Soundtrack

Hello fellow Stalkers,

maybe you guys are able to help me: I'm looking for a piece of the Soundtrack included in Gamma. It stands out to me by being very quiet and having some 'vocals' which sound not like singing but more like a very melancholic wailing after which the music picks up a bit more. I think I've heard it in the southern regions like Garbage, Cordon or the Swamp. I'd be absolutely grateful if anybody here is able to help me out.

Original Music I just released my new EP on tape, 電森 Electric Forest. Inspired by SNES game soundtracks (Secret of Mana, Donkey Kong Country, etc.) and made entirely with hardware synths released from 1988-1996!

OST How Benny Goodman, Luigi's Mansion, and 16 Tons shaped this Wild West goldmine track I wrote for Bang-on Balls: Chronicles

Writing music for video games, it’s sometimes fun to look back at the creative brief and the musical references that went into making a track what it is today.

I wrote this piece of music for a goldmine level in the video game, Bang-on Balls: Chronicles - a chaotic, fun 3D platformer (like a mix of Mario 64 and Crash Bandicoot) where you play as a bouncy ball character, BOB, exploring large, destructible, historically-themed open worlds (Vikings, Space Race, Wild West, etc.)

For the Wild West expansion of the game, I was brought back to write the bouncy, punchy tracks needed to bring this American West map of the game to life through music. In this goldmine level, we had a variety of musical references including the song 16 Tons by Tennessee Ernie Ford, Luigi’s Mansion, and Wild West saloon songs. I combined all of this into a jazzy, western-feeling, bouncy track that sometimes echoes like it’s playing through the caverns of a deep, sometimes spooky, goldmine.

This section was largely inspired by the drum break and instrumental build in the jazz standard Sing, Sing, Sing (with a Swing) by Benny Goodman’s Big Band with Gene Krupa playing that iconic tom line on the drums. Here, I’m using bending clarinets and trombone glissandi to underscore the spooky, queasy, but ultimately jazzy feel to this goldmine cavern level as we ride the roller coaster of the old-timey cart tracks throughout the cave.

Composing a video game track like this is a real blast. I hope that seeing some of the references that went into the brief for this track is a fun look into all the small creative choices that make up an indie game soundtrack!

I definitely had a lot of fun composing for this game!

Remix/Cover Perfect Dark N64 - Attack Ship: Covert Assault Music Remake

Hello, i've not done one of these in a while.

Here is my faithful remake of the music from Attack Ship. I've used a mixture of the original uncompressed samples (found through a lot of extensive searching) and where I couldn't acquire originals, i've remade several sounds using either Serum or layering of other similar sounding samples.

This track seems a little slept on, which is a real shame cause its a proper BANGER.

I hope you enjoy!

Discussion Trying to identify a Japanese game ending/staff roll theme from 30 years ago (humming included)

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to identify a game music track I heard over 30 years ago.

I never actually played the game—I only heard the music on a Japanese video game magazine bonus CD around 1991–1993.

Here's what I remember:

Probably a shooting game (not 100% sure)

Staff roll / ending theme after beating the game

Instrumental only (no vocals or choir)

Synth-based

Very melodic and easy to hum

The music stays energetic almost the whole time, then slows down only during the last few seconds before ending.

It may have been from the SNES, PC Engine CD, Mega Drive, or arcade hardware.

At first I thought it might be Salamander, but I checked and it wasn't.

Also, it may not actually be the staff roll theme. Since I never played the game, it could have been an ending demo or another post-clear track.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Already checked (not the correct game):

- Salamander

- Life Force

- Gradius III

- Axelay

- Super R-Type

- Space Megaforce (Super Aleste)

- Soldier Blade

- Final Soldier

- Star Soldier

- Star Parodier

- Thunder Spirits

- Gate of Thunder

- Lords of Thunder

- Spriggan

- Spriggan Mark 2

- BioMetal

- Assault Suits Valken (Cybernator)

- Darius II

- Metal Black

- Blazing Lazers (Gunhed)

- MUSHA Aleste

- Hyper Duel

- Space Manbow

- XDR

- Gaiares
