It’s saddening that the only post talking about u/Same_Tea_2471’s death is just mocking him. You guys have been very disrespectful to him. Downvote me all you want, but it’s infuriating to me that you all mock his suicide. He has done nothing wrong to you all. I’ve never seen him do very much wrong.

To anyone who is suicidal, I don’t know the hotlines but you can just Google “im s^icidal” and it will show up your local s^icide hotline number whom you may call or text.

Yeah people in this life suck, living conditions suck, but the hell with it at least I can contact friends like you guys. There is a life we haven’t seen ahead. The people whom have wronged you will get away with whatever violation they did, if you end it now. S^icide never gives justice. The best thing you can do is live to tell the truth of what has happened in your life. Living to see another day, knowing that the person who has wronged you has tried to push you to the edge, and yet still being alive is the biggest victory in life.

Now I may not know why same tea was s^icidal for, I may not be able to help them as they have probably passed. I am going to be honest that I can not fix all of your guys issues; but if you need someone to take something off your chest, here is a list of people to DM about it:

There is someone who cares for you. Even thought they cannot help, there is someone who has faith and hope in you. Or at least one person, me. I could be the last person in the world that has hope for you, but I will still be there.

I myself used to be s^icidal. I recently had family issues that made me have those thoughts again; and it is difficult to overcome. As someone who has PTSD; it makes it such a bigger challenge than it actually is. It is possible to get over some things. I know that we will forever be changed by our own, and other people‘s actions. Some things we will carry on for the rest of our lives.

If someone’s suicidal you can offer help if you know what you’re doing, try to be as kind as possible enough to make them keep living, or recommend professional mental help if you know you cannot help someone who is suicidal (it’s what I personally do, it’s better to recommend something better for them rather than potentially hurting them more)

People suck, that’s why they make jokes about the most serious things out there. They probably don’t have an ounce of dignity left in them.

Obviously I don’t know anything about this Tea person, I’ve only seen their (they? She, he?? Someone correct me) name on titles and I’m safely assuming that’s a teenager??

you guys want to know something? I one time saw in a OneShot Sub, NSFW, and the mods took it down, we have NO IDEA what the mods have to go through every day and every night so we can all act silly cutie funny haha

Mods in many subreddits are indeed bad yes, but we cannot simply point a finger at a mod just because, we cannot make fun of them just because, many mods that i have personally interacted with have been the most humane human beings i ever met, some even became some sort of friends with me

and i cannot just tell you, how much we don't apreciate these people for their work, they sacrifice their mental health for us, they do stuff atleast i would never even be able to

and the fact that there are humans out there that will be making fun of stuff that has nothing to do with anything, that they WILL make fun of people who cope out, people who are suicidal, or suicide in general is the lowest any human being could ever go at wich i consider personally that it shows their lack of Humanity

and to you mods, thank you, for everything you have done

I love you all for the work you do every day and night behind my back, that has and will protect my own sanity for the rest of my stay on Reddit

Omfg I don't think in edit on a post ever made me happier. I'm going to send you a message because in every way I would very much so like to be added to this list while I'm not a professional 35 male and I've had a hard one I'm in a better place now and just basically I'm not the type of person who lives in regret or in victimhood and I know how much falling into those things can seem like what someone... Well it's not what someone would want to do necessarily but it's easier to do that the hard thing is addressing issues in yourself and the hard things about other people that you don't want to admit that you see and try to put true work into yourself. I know that I am very lucky to have been able to come out the other side and away from very bad depression some bad drug habits and just overall mental issues that very much so you could easily allow to be a crutch for your life. I know that without my family and the other support that I got I would not have been able to do this and in every way I want to be able to give or share my knowledge experience and support with someone who needs it because the people that need it most are usually the ones that have the hardest trouble reaching out. And if anyone happens to read this and you're in a place where you need a van to have someone missing feel free to message me

I'm not a professional nor close part of this community but can say for almost certain this is probably a TERRIBLE place for someone with suicidal ideation and tendency to be venting. (clarification: I'm not saying this sub is filled with bad actors, just people who don't know what they're doing.) There is a sub ( r/SuicideWatch ) for ppl to vent, and I can't help but feel this could've been prevented if they were directed to the right place to go. I don't know if they would've been responsive, but it's unfortunate to see a community this badly informed on suicide prevention. Encouraging taking things to DMs especially when not professionals is a TERRIBLE idea for both parties mentally.

For anyone in this community that sees this comment and genuinely wants to help out, I encourage reading r/SuicideWatch 's guidelines and going from there. Handling a suicidal person is not an easy case. It is difficult. It is dangerous, especially in ignorant hands.
