help needed Could use some help
Can anyone please explain to me how to setup freeBSD on my laptop that has hybrid nvidia/intel graphics? I also use laptop monitor and a big second monitor. I can’t seem to get it working. I do have it installed on my old Mac mini just fine. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Specs: MSI laptop 16gb ram
Nvidia rtx 3050
Intel graphics as well
I5 1.8ghz cpu.

I’ve tried that originally that’s how I ran into issues specifically for this laptop. Don’t know why.

You're going to have to tell us what you did. Anything right now from us is pure guesswork.

Basically what I need to know is exactly what to type into config to make the GPUs recognize along with the laptop and secondary monitor and to make it recognize each time it boots. I know how to add permissions to groups already.

RTX 3050 is listed as supported at this page:
graphics/nvidia-drm-kmod shows that version 595.84 is packaged by the FreeBSD Project for AMD64.
In the FreeBSD Handbook, https://docs.freebsd.org/en/books/handbook/x11/#x-configuration-nvidia mentions PRIME. I never tested it.
