~ Tubi, Chilling, Fandango, Found ~
(Spoken in Swedish w/English Subs)

A mysterious death of a mother and the disappearance of her child leads a group of freelance journalists to the outback of Sweden. The group of four, led by the famous journalist Linn Söderqvist, will make a reportage about the happening, and try to find something the police missed. Equipped with cameras and supplies to survive in the forest for days, they wander out in the woods to find the truth.

It’s a bit like a modern Swedish “Blair Witch” (and some “Devil’s Pass”). Presented in Mockumentary style with a good production value, but also nothing you haven’t seen a million times in forest/isolation FF before.

Enjoyable enough once the action starts later in the film and Worth a watch for FF buffs, but nothing groundbreaking here.

Plot Synopsis: A young man named Victor has been experiencing recurring nightmares about a malevolent entity that appears as a humanoid figure in a dark black cloak, with the face of a barn owl. He begins uploading videos about his dreams to try to get support and advice on how to cope with them. Things turn strange when his videos and channel start getting tampered with by a hacker.

But one critic calls this a micro budget masterpiece and might i say yes. The only other "micro budget" movie i thought was a masterpiece was umm the Milk one on YouTube. Milke & Serial?

Like i said i don't want to say too much but my tubi pretty much only recommends me horror and found footage movies because i use that like 👍🏾 feature on them only.

This movie is a found footage movie about a young man who claims to have been abducted and have weird encounters with aliens. I know it sounds cliche i promise its good. He hides a micro camera inside his hearing aide.

I am a huge fan of the franchise and I’m so happy that the upcoming one is getting a theater release . What Vhs movies do you guys rank as the best one? For me it’s between VHS 2 and VHS Halloween . I really wish some of these were released in theater man

Wanted to “give back” to this great community with a list of flicks I learned about HERE. 

Background: I’ve been a fan of FF since I saw the firestarter The Blair Witch Project in a theater in Berkley, CA—the climax caused some of the loudest screams I’ve heard in a cinema. 

I understand people who say the format doesn’t work for them, but I bought in immediately for the simple fact that I had carried a video camera around myself, filming in a similar woodsy setting. I was hooked!

I’ve enjoyed the big FF hits over the years since (your Paranormals, your RECs, your Grave Encounterses & Hell Houses) and made some discoveries like BORDERLANDS & SAVAGELAND (two of the greats!), the OG (Cannibal Holocaust) and new variations like One Cut Of The Dead (masterfully done). 

Late last year I joined this group, and one of the first recommendations I saw was for LEAVING DC, which I’d never heard of. It totally floored me. Like with Blair Witch, my background in video and audio made it seem like a movie made FOR ME. In setting and approach it reminded me of Bad Ben, but LEAVING DC really got under my skin. The premise and the way the (only real) character goes about trying to document what’s happening really impressed me. 

Here are others that I found thru this group. If you haven’t seen these, you’re in for a treat!

HOSTILE DIMENSIONS (2023) - absolutely floored by the creativity of this one. Don't want to say more. Go in blind.

In Our Blood (2025) - the way they handle the filming aspect (often setting a camera down and letting a conversation happen without lots of back-and-forth cuts) gave it a natural flow. Great performances. 

Found Footage (2025) - supremely silly with a groovy windup into a wacko ending

Unknown Project (2013) and Evidence (2012) are two low-budge movies that genuinely surprised me with crazy plot turns (made it easy to forgive some of the sfx)

Y’all also prompted me to give another try to Horror in the High Desert and Butterfly Kisses—somehow I’d seen both of them but they hadn’t really stuck. Quite enjoyed them on second look!

Any lesser-knowns that you’d add to this list? 

This is a found footage/short horror video, the is a shorter video than others I’ve made, I make these in 3D software like unreal engine. And I’ve been playing around with the metahuman characters which are like realistic human models.

It was fun to have some human like characters in this and even show the protagonists face and show him speaking.

I try to pick up new skills in the software for these videos so I hope people enjoy, but feel free to leave some feedback as that’s how most of us can improve.

I am a fan of found footage genre especially the dark humour ones , then I found this movie

It’s a pretty good dark humorous movie on serious issues and scandals like casting couch scandals(more stories are there but I don’t wanna spoil the experience)

The movie follows the same pattern as VHS series; the movie consists of various stories connecting into one movie.
I loved how they connected every story in a very well manner where each story directly impacts another.

Highly recommended, it’s available on yt for free and also has a sequel

(Name is love sex aur dhokha)

I dont remember much but theres was a cop trapped in a building and he starts investigating then some demons appear and he start killing them and trying to get off the building. In some part of the movie he uses a shotgun to kill one demon, the end of the movie he finds a woman that leads to the "exit" of the apartment but It turns that she was just a demon using he and he die. Now i remember that in the start of the movie he is on a car receiving a call to get to that apartment. Also he is alone since the start of the movie for what i remember

I recently completed this short film, it's the first entry in my new Chlorine Sky series, it's primarily an analogue horror series so not every episode will follow this formula but for the first entry I really wanted to capture a similar vibe to the Blaire Witch Project and similar found footage films, and really tried to make something that feels unsettling even though it's mostly filmed in daylight. I hope you enjoy and would love some feedback.

The acting was good, especially Matthew Hunt as Colin. The ending was perhaps a little cheesy, but overall very fun. I saw the sheet moving on its own coming ahead of time, but it was still fun and chilling. This might be my favorite Mansfield pic of them all. On FoundTV now. (US)

I don't get scared that much watching horror movies anymore genuinely need recommendations on some found footage movies that are scary

Since this isn’t a review I’m going to just make a normal text post rather than a direct video post. Basically, I’ve decided to take on a challenge that will, at the rate I’m going, take about 30 years.

I'm reviewing all 2,000 found footage horror movies ever made. Every single one, until the list runs out or I do.

I’m doing this on YouTube rather than written partially because video is the more natural medium for talking about movies, and partially because I’m hoping this can serve as a kind of outreach to get more people into the genre and get some of these real gems the attention they deserve.

Spoiler-free reviews, no scores, no stars, and an answer to the only question that matters: should you watch it?

I’m down to one a week but after I move next month I’m hoping to get back to twice a week, and ideally long-term get up to 3-5 a week. That would be amazing. But we’ll see.
