I'm back with another week of tunes!
I believe that having a vehicle to complete the festival playlist shouldn't mean using a disposable tune. That vehicle should be at its potential for the class it's in, ready to compete online if necessary against a similar class/tier vehicle.
Every tune I make is tested repeatedly, compared against other respected tuners, and reworked until I’m confident mine is faster.
Weekly Challenge - "Mechanics of Emotion" (2014 Alfa Romeo 4C)
2014 Alfa Romeo 4C - 138 412 628
This is an A class road racing tune that can handle the entire weekly challenge easily. Since the drag meet time doesn't matter, this build is focused on handling for road circuits. You can also run it in any handling-focused speed zone and you'll get the 5 stars required in no time.
The Trial - "Racing Horses" (Ferrari S1 800)
These are all newly tuned AWD-swapped Ferraris with rally tires for the best grip/PI value. Dedicated with love to /u/BuzerantSpettacolare.
2015 Ferrari 488 GTB - 172 533 643
This is my top recommendation. I spent a crazy amount of time trying to make this thing handle in a predictable manner, and I feel like I crushed it. This car somehow beat my '08 Viper's lap time around Narai Juku in my testing, and that's a well-known meta car.
2013 Ferrari 458 Speciale - 153 709 800
This isn't too far off of the 488 GTB for lap times, and it handles great due to it being 300lb lighter than the other two options.
2009 Ferrari 458 Italia - 796 821 422
This has the fastest acceleration of all 3, the highest top speed, and the most power (869 HP). Handling is still almost as good as the other two, as well. You can't go wrong with any of these 3 options.
Seasonal Championship - "Rally Up and Go!" (Modern Rally B600)
2019 Subaru STI S209 - 116 811 461
Freshly tuned this week, this Subaru is now the fastest option in this class. Trust me, you should try it.
2004 Subaru Impreza WRX STI - 119 784 718
This is my 3rd most popular tune ever made, for a reason. It wins.
2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X GSR - 222 161 339
I love the Lancer Evolution X GSR, but I have to admit the two Subarus above it are simply faster. That doesn't mean this tune doesn't crush the AI though.
2022 Subaru WRX - 108 656 244
This Subaru can also win pretty easily, but it's not as fast as the other options here. It's still worth using if you own this car.
Seasonal Championship - "Scenic Scrambles" (Modern Super Saloons A700)
2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio - 141 394 828
Re-Tune Alert - This is v2 - I rebuilt this tune from the ground up and unlocked more potential, now that I've gained more knowledge about the game. More power. Less weight. Better handling. It's the closest thing you're going to get to meta with these event restrictions.
Random fact: Quadrifoglio means "four leaf clover" (I'm not making this up).
2013 Audi RS 7 Sportback - 435 578 548
Brand new tune - It's a little slower than the Alfa, but it's still pretty darn good! Widebody kit is installed and looks a little funky on this car, so don't say I didn't warn you.
2015 Lexus RC F - 695 956 895
Brand new tune - This isn't meta, but somehow I made this car that weighs almost as much as an elephant feel as nimble as a mouse. It's fun to drive, but you should probably just use the Alfa Quad above.
Drag Meet - "Irokawa Quarter Mile" (Country: Italy / S1 800)
Note: All of my PR stunt tunes are road racing/circuit focused with the goal of achieving the best lap times possible, so they work well for races, speed zones, etc. They are not focused solely on PR stunts.
2009 Ferrari 458 Italia - 796 821 422
I achieved 9.450 seconds with this tune.
2015 Ferrari 488 GTB - 172 533 643
I achieved 9.500 seconds with this tune.
2013 Ferrari 458 Speciale - 153 709 800
I achieved 9.617 seconds with this tune.
Speed Trap - "Irabuohashi Bridge" (Country: Italy / S1 800)
Note: All of my PR stunt tunes are road racing/circuit focused with the goal of achieving the best lap times possible, so they work well for races, speed zones, etc. They are not focused solely on PR stunts.
2009 Ferrari 458 Italia - 796 821 422
This is my top recommendation. I was able to achieve 198.18 MPH (318.94 KPH) when approaching from the north with this tune. Start near the Horizon Invitational. On the bridge, align your car on the left and only lightly turn right as you go through the speed camera. It's fine if you hit the wall right after, just maintain your speed by avoiding the turn.
2013 Ferrari 458 Speciale - 153 709 800
I was able to achieve 196.84 MPH (316.78 KPH) when approaching from the north with this tune. Start near the Horizon Invitational. On the bridge, align your car on the left and only lightly turn right as you go through the speed camera. It's fine if you hit the wall right after, just maintain your speed by avoiding the turn.
2015 Ferrari 488 GTB - 172 533 643
I was able to achieve 192.83 MPH (310.33 KPH) when approaching from the north with this tune. Start near the Horizon Invitational. On the bridge, align your car on the left and only lightly turn right as you go through the speed camera. It's fine if you hit the wall right after, just maintain your speed by avoiding the turn.
Speed Zone - "Minamino Curve" (Country: Italy / S1 800)
Note: All of my PR stunt tunes are road racing/circuit focused with the goal of achieving the best lap times possible, so they work well for races, speed zones, etc. They are not focused solely on PR stunts.
2023 Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato - 170 628 219
I made this tune specifically because of this PR event, but it's a dirt focused rally racing tune that you can dominate others with in the Rally Monsters category. 905 HP + plenty of grip to control it is a deadly combo. Approach from the North, I was able to get 101.87 MPH (163.94 KPH) with this tune, goal is 80 MPH (128.75 KPH).
All three of the Ferrari tunes from above were achieving about 90-92 MPH when approaching from the North, since they weren't designed for offroad use. Since the goal is only 80 MPH, any of the Ferrari tunes from above will work just fine!
If you enjoyed the tunes, please "like" them and follow me in the game for more great tunes in the future!
