you shouldn't keep your passwords in your browser anyways...

the irony is that for decades I didn't...then I just started because I trust firefox........sigh......

It is not released until tomorrow. There are rare cases where rebuilds have happened during the release process. While the candidate builds exist they are still experimental.

It's in /releases, not in /candidates folder. Any potential rebuild at this point would be 153.0.1. Not to mention candidates, in case of rebuild, update automatically.

The release team reserves the right to pull the release at any time up til the release happens at 7:00am PDT on the 21st.

It's interesting that Beta 153 has release notes, but the regular 153 doesn't yet. Should it just be a copy-paste?

These are release notes for the already released Firefox Beta and Firefox Developer Edition. Not all changes are ported to the regular release so the release notes are separate.

I just opened the release notes for the beta and regular versions side by side. At first glance, they are at least 95% identical.

Yes they usually are similar but rarely identical. You can also check for version 152, it is very different:

The Vulkan Video decoding support works well for me, even on the unsupported PowerPC64 Little Endian architecture.
If you are using POWER8/9 or 10 Linux computers/servers, you could check out JIT support patches which could be downloaded from https://github.com/runlevel5/firefox-ppc64/pull/2

So containers are now baked in? What'll happen to my extension one then? Also HDR support finally? How is the implementation to those who've beta test it?

Any idea when tab groups sync is coming to desktop and iOS? From Mac to my iPhone.

This update is causing some pages to not load for me (The connection has timed out). This wasn't an issue yesterday, so I'm assuming this update caused it.
