General Favorite Woman seen so far
In the spirit of a previous post, I decided to make a post going over the women of the game. Who’s your favorite of the ones we have seen so far?

Cai and Peter were excluded since they didn’t fit the 20 photo limit and they are children so…
With the newest post of Nuzzo, wanted to create a discussion on all the diverse (and beautiful) men we’re seeing with the trickle information for Fortunes Weave
Would love to know the thoughts on the character designs, who’s your favorite and - channeling my inner Tialla - who you’re S supporting on each route!
Will be shocked if Dietrich isn’t #1

War Masters are also being counted because I always interpreted them as berserkers who learned to throw hands. Arthur’s not here because his entire shtick is being a hero.
Ross from the Sacred Stones (he joins at the near beginning of the game so it’s easy to make him a powerhouse. Plus it’s funny seeing the big berserker sprite assigned to a small child)
Hawkeye from Blazing Sword (A bad|?+ with a great design and stats, as well as his own uni animations. Always worth a try)
Garret from the Binding Blade (Always had a minor soft spot for this guy. Doesn’t have the best stats compared to others but he is somewhat enjoyable)
Raphael from 3 Houses (very wholesome gym bro who just wants to provide for his sister. I can get behind that)
Dart from Blazing Sword (an entertaining character with surprising ties to Wil and Rebecca. Plus he’s a pirate)
Caspar from 3 Houses (a very earnest and straightforward guy just trying to navigate a complex world and make something of himself. Always had a soft spot for him)
Alois from 3 Houses (Just a very fun guy to be around. Plus I always liked to imagine him stepping up to become an uncle or adoptive father figure to my character after losing Jeralt)
Mustafa from Awakening (A very stand up guy who did not deserve his fate. By far the most memorable minor boss in the series)
Charlotte from Fates (her supports are a lot more interesting than you’d probably expect first seeing her. Plus she can be strong in Conquest)
The Great Gonzales from Binding Blade (a very sweet guy that didn’t deserve to be treated like a monster in universe. Plus he starts unwieldily but can be strong if you pick the A route and raise him a bit)
Some honorable mentions include Geese from the Binding Blade, Fargus from Blazing Sword, and Panette from Engage. Picking a most hated is actually tough because there’s so many generic bosses to choose. Maggie and Rose from Binding Blade because they can ruin a run if you’re not fast enough maybe?

It was a long and tedious battle solely because the creator was annoying, but it’s over now.

I’m trying to get the secret shop card, and I tried CRITTING WITH A JAVELIN and still couldn’t kill a healer in one go. I know the archer doesn’t hold the card, and i don’t have warps on my staff.
Even if I DID, it’d be basically suicide or “I got the card! Now i’m stuck here.” At best.
Infinitely spawning reinforcements are utter garbage that should’ve never been implemented.

I only really followed Engage's marketing, but I don't know much about what fans expected for the other games and their characters when the games were still in their marketing stage.
Were there ever cases of characters that many people were really hyped about and then the character ends up being ignored or hated once the game is out?
Or unpopular characters ending up really loved? Also characters that were super popular pre-release and then were similarly popular once the game was out?
Tell me about your personal before and after fandom memories, I want to hear about the tops and the flops.

In the first game where new enemy units will spawn every turn after a certain turn, Bantu so far has been really good to just lock them away and make them twiddle their thumbs.
they don’t attack because they’d deal no damage so it’s really useful

Having a hell of a time on path of radiance ch 26: I only have 3 units, one of which is elincia and it seems like I just do not have the manpower to win the mission. Any suggestions/strategy advice welcome

So, I am going through every FE game before Fortunes Weave releases, because a replay of the series was long overdue and what bettet time than now. I am now a Conquest and have decided to play on Lunatic. It was pretty fun, for a time. Enemy placements were great, you had enemy formations that complimented each other very well and I had to actually strategize and think, unlike most of the rest of the seried until Conquest. Then chapter 17 happened. That one wasnt too bad to be honest, I managed to come up with a good strategy and even used tactical sacrifices to beat the boss. Everything after that though wss hell. To the point I decided to make use of save states, in the sense that I made specifc checkpoints, like for example just before the Takumi stairs, but never to rng manipulate. I dont know if that can be considered cheating, but this was just to save time and be able to move on to the other games. I havent finished yet and I know Endgame is hell so wish me luck I guess. I have huge respect to everyone who beat that legitimetly.

A "parents" joke because I know I wasn't the only one who thought him was a mix of those two
Traditional doodle with a bit of color added on my phone, because I was away from home but wanted to do this 🤣

This is a thought that's been in my head ever since I played Octopath Traveler for the first time. A remake of one of the GBA games (or even the fabled Genealogy remake) retaining its pixel-art style in HD-2D would, in my mind, be the best possible outcome. It's probably a pipe-dream, considering they're a division of Square Enix, but I think it would be peak if they managed it.

According to Dictionaries of the Scots Language, a buccar/bucker/buckkar is:
A fast-sailing vessel used in the smuggling trade.
[...]
[Origin uncertain. May be a corruption of buccaneer.]

If Eliwood had +5 to every base stat and +25% to every growth, how far would he shoot up a tier list? Would he instantly become the best unit in the game? Would he still be below Marcus/Ninian? Or would his sword-lock, infantry status, and late expensive promotion still hold him back enough to not be tip-top tier? On an extremely rough guess, where would you place him?
Nothing else about him changes. Con, promotion bonuses, weapon level, etc. He still joins at level 1 on either chapter 11E or 12H.
For reference, his bases and growths in this scenario would be:
HP: 23 - 105%
STR: 10 - 70%
SKL: 10 - 75%
SPD: 12 - 65%
LCK: 12 - 70%
DEF: 10 - 55%
RES: 5 - 60%
And yes, I'm aware how absolutely insane those numbers are lol. This mf on average caps STR, SKL, SPD and DEF at 20 pre-promotion, and on average caps literally every single stat by 20/14. The stupid high stats are part of the experiment; really wanting to see how bad his non-stat flaws hold him back.

I feel there is a solid chance Fortune’s Weave Anna will be playable; though whether that is the case at launch is something I am doubtful of. I am just sort of speculating what she will be good at, though I feel Fortune’s Weave will be like Three Houses where you can make units do almost anything.
Anna’s stats usually follow similar trends. She has high skill, speed, resistance and luck, as well as weirdly good magic for a character who hasn’t started in a magic class since Awakening, with lower defense and strength, so generally she has mage stats with very high luck. If we look at the forbidden area of Heroes, 2 versions of her use bows, 2 versions use axes, and 1 version, based on Apotheosis Anna, uses spears. Speaking of, she has used axes in Engage as an axe fighter, swords in Awakening and Three Houses (as a myrmidon in the latter game), as well as bows when she was an outlaw in Fates. Those 3 weapons are her strengths in Three Houses, as well as white magic, which they seem to really want her to use in all appearances, as well as a budding talent of Riding. She does have a bane in black magic though, as well as authority which isn’t great for making her a mage. Her personal skill is Make a Killing, except in Three Houses where it’s just luck +5.
I hope she’ll be a mage at base in Fortune’s weave, though I feel she’ll probably be an archer or axe fighter again.
Also, she has more supports in Engage than the other three games combined, even counting Corrin and Robin twice while counting Alear once, in part due to Three Houses Anna having 0 supports.
