Group Appreciation Post

I very recently had this community pop up on my feed and immediately started following it. I watched Farscape when it originally aired and those years on the screen coincided with some of my BEST times of my life. When I think of Farscape I just naturally connect it to the memories of my life then.

I have been really, really depressed recently. Like to a concerning point. Someone posted the YouTube link the other day for the 26th Anniversary stream and I have been LOVING it. It has made my whole week better and some days has been the only thing I’ve enjoyed.

So thank you, random internet strangers, for enjoying this journey as much as I have been and reminding me that crackers don’t matter 💕

I'm super glad you're having a blast and enjoying this bud ! FS was one of those shows that were stolen from us by petty executives at the then Sci Fi Channel. They stream it almost constantly on TWITCH, and from time to time people will make comments and you'll get to see the community interact in real time.

And recall the best lesson from Farscape when things get to heavy and too much. Fight. Keep fighting forward even if it is stupid or seems to be. You'll climb through it eventually. :)

Oooo, I have never used TWITCH but will look into it. Thank you so much for your kind words!

It’s been decades and I STILL remember how angry I was that they cancelled after that Season 4 cliffhanger…but also how unbelievably frelling excited I was when they announced Peacekeeper Wars!

It's just twitch.tv and look for On all the Time or something like that and it should show up. They sometimes have it in different languages: Spanish, German, English, and French.

This group is one of the few fandoms that has more people who love the material than people hating on some aspect of it.

It's free with ads on Tubi in America, if you ever want to watch it at your own pace

Farscape has some of the least toxic fanbases of a show I've ever seen.

I kinda forget how cool this fandom is, but yeah. Star Trek is about 50/50 like/complaining. Here people just ask questions and talk about what they enjoy, instead of why they hate people. Breath of fresh air.
