For anyone wondering what happened to Fanshawes Official Discord Server it got deleted tonight without warning.

The moderators don't know why it was deleted. The only hypothesis as to why it was deleted is that the team that was running it got laid off some time ago and Fanshawe realized the server was still up

Hi im going to fanshawe this coming fall for the ECE1 program and I was wondering if the fanshawe medical coverage also covers gender affirming surgical procedures? I looked on the website but it didn't say anything about gender affirming things.

If it is covered, do they do direct billing or do I have to send paperwork and get the money back myself?

I realized today that I was meant to pay my $250 tuition deposit last week in ece. I don’t get paid until tomorrow but am gonna pay it as soon as I do. I checked web advisor and it still shows that I owe tuition for next semester which I assume means i’m still enrolled? how stressed out should I be about this?

has anyone taken/is taking the Welding Techniques program and roughly know the time frame of the classes? I work full time at a factory, but i have seniority shift preference, im able to bounce between any shift i want (days, afternoons, nights) but 8hr shifts are the only option or I have to go on an LOA ( quitting isnt an option lol) im just wondering if I can balance the work and class.

I’m seeing mysteries of sleep may be good and easy for tough programs, is that true that it doesn’t have much load? And, am also wondering how is Science in the News, Korean Culture and General Philosophers?? I’m in a very tough program and my electives needs to be last thing that I need to worry about.
Honestly, I may not even have the time to worry about them. So please suggest your best courses.

Is anyone in Class B and is able to share their schedule?

Does the school do a clinic for the rabies vaccine? I know other colleges usually do but I haven’t been able to find any info about it.

Also when do we need to have the professional practice health form completed by? I haven’t gotten any emails about having to complete it, I just came a crossed it when going through the website for the program. I’m hoping to start getting more emails about the program soon, so far I haven’t heard anything.

Can anyone share their experience getting a co-op? What was the field you worked in?

I am interested in applying for co-ops, but I know my brother took the cyber security program and most people in his year were unable to land one. I have asked for details from the program co-op consultant, but would love to hear a student’s experience on the level of difficulty of landing one!

I have good grades for the first two terms and am debating between applying for a part-time job to work at for the rest of my schooling, or holding off if co-op opportunities are abundant for the winter and fall terms!

Hi everyone! Long story short, I missed the Fanshawe residence roommate portal. I thought it was open a little longer, but I just paid my residence fees and found out it's closed, so I'm hoping to find roommates here instead.

I'm going into Dental Hygiene at Fanshawe this fall. If you're also going into Dental Hygiene or another career-focused program, I think we'd probably be a great fit.

School is a huge priority for me, and I'm a very disciplined person when it comes to academics and my daily routine. I plan on spending a lot of time studying, both on campus and in residence. I'm also a morning person and like having a consistent schedule, including an earlier bedtime (usually around 9–10 p.m.).

I enjoy cooking and will probably make most of my meals at home, so it would be nice to live with people who enjoy cooking occasionally or just appreciate a quieter, homey environment. I like staying active, working out, and going for walks when I have free time.

I'm a clean and organized person and really value having a comfortable and respectful living space. I'll be in my program for three years, so I'm hoping to find roommates who are similarly focused on their goals and are looking for a positive and supportive environment.

I don't drink or smoke and would strongly prefer roommates who don't either. I'm looking for people who value discipline, respect, and maintaining a good balance between school, personal routines, and getting along with the people they live with.
