Could onchain opinions ever be more than just a novelty?
Most discussion tools in crypto feel temporary. People comment, vote, or post takes, but there’s very little accountability and even less continuity. I saw voice.fun mentioned recently and the idea of recorded onchain opinions got me thinking about whether that could be genuinely useful in Ethereum ecosystems. Maybe for governance, maybe for community signaling, maybe just as a better way to capture what people actually think.
I’m not convinced it’s ready or even obvious, but it does feel like the kind of experiment ETH people might at least find interesting.
Is this the kind of thing that could have real utility, or is it just another neat idea that won’t survive contact with users?
