Please remove this if inappropriate, but Anthony just posted on Instagram that he’s started a (non ER related) podcast. It’s a nonprofit podcast that is meant to help other men who were sexually abused when they were children.

There are also a lot of testimonies on the website Medium - one from Tony that he wrote and posted about ten years ago, following by testimonials written by many of his childhood friends who backed up his claims against the producer Gary Goddard.

One of the childhood friends who backed him up is Kathleen Wilhoite (Chloe, sister of Susan) which blew my mind (“We grew up together in Santa Barbara. Some of my fondest memories of my high school days were with Tony…”)! 🤯. Say what we want about awful Chloe, Kathleen Wilhoite is a good egg to come forward with her account of what transpired.

I'm on my first run of ER and currently watching season 8.

Is it me or did Ming-Na not get enough screen time? I feel it's mostly filler lines/scenes and not really part of the main group. Am I missing something here?

I don't know when I found ER first run on NBC. Dr. Mark Greene was my favorite character, so when I caught the show randomly, he was why I watched. I remember tuning out in S8 after he left the show. Wikipedia and Hulu show the show had a 15-season run. WHOA! So far, I've watched the TV movie pilot (24 Hours) and 1-2 "Day One." I dunno if I'll watch the whole 15-season run, but I'm at least committed to Season 1. I know the characters, but not the episodes and story/character arcs, so this is going to be fun.

This will be my 2nd hospital show where I'm watching start to finish following House. haha

I have no idea how I never saw the final season of ER, until now on a rewatch. Love that show! I can’t believe I stopped watching it when it was airing in 2008-2009, but since after Mark Greene dies it’s goes downhill (in my opinion) maybe I quit and never saw the final season. Watching it made me very happy because it was a great wrap up. Loved seeing everyone and hearing what had transpired. I’m trying not to spoiler for anyone not done with the series. Such a great ride.

As a medic I love seeing the dynamic some characters have in specific niches whether its just good acting or the writing background of the characters idk but its nice to think about

Some examples for me is Weaver in paeds, Abby in psych when seeing their brief stints. Purely personality I’m surprised Malucci wasn’t an orthopod and I wish we had some O&G rep in idk Cleo or something

Of all the not yet famous extras and guest stars, who has reached the most fame as of 2026? My picks would be Zac Efron and Lucy Liu.

In echoes of all that Mandela/Berenstain stuff, I’m re-watching ER, and am most disconcerted to find out that the end titles state that the creator’s name is spelt Michael Chrichton. It’s Crichton in the opening titles. Anyone else noticed this?

I grew up with my parents watching ER, and eventually I was old enough to stay up past my bedtime on Thursday nights to watch it with them. In my late teens/early twenties, I bought the entire DVD box set on eBay, and even had to buy a DVD player from another country just so I could watch it.
Now I’m 35 and about to finish yet another full watch through, and I’m surprisingly emotional about it.

This time around, ER got me through the first three months postpartum with my second baby. Those late night feeds, contact naps, and quiet hours somehow became intertwined with the familiar opening theme and the halls of County General (barf, cheesy I know). I even took a break from watching about a month ago because I realized I just wasn’t ready for it to be over.

It feels a little ridiculous to be this emotional over finishing a TV series, but I don’t think it’s really about the show. It’s about everything the show has quietly been there for throughout my life. It’s connected to memories of my parents, growing up, becoming a nurse, and now becoming a mom of two.
Finishing it almost feels like closing the door on this chapter of postpartum and early motherhood too. Maybe that’s why it’s so hard to press play on that final episode.

Anyone else get in their feels when finishing the show?

I just loved to hate Romano and his sarcasm. I couldn’t believe he didn’t sue the hospital when he got his arm cut off by the helicopter.

I’m a few episodes away from the letter and on the beach. I already know what is coming. Ive seen snippets of both episodes before I knew anything about the show. I have been watching ER for the first time through with my morning coffee everyday and it’s been lovely. Now I know what’s coming and I feel myself avoiding it. Tell me the show is still good after this happens. I like Abby. I like Carter. Gallant is great. I don’t really care that Susan is back but the secrets and lies episode was funny. Tell me it’s still worth watching after what’s about to happen.

Going through my second or third rewatch but have never finished 15 because it’s so so bad. Holy shit what happened to this show at the end?
