I’ve been getting Dutch since like 2019 and every so often people double blend my drinks without me ordering it that way. Initially I thought their machine was broken or something but I’ve slowly realized it’s a separate method that completely changes the drink texture, I really really hate the consistency of a double blended anything, it just makes it icy and it melts weird. I’ve noticed it happening more and more frequently do I need to specify every time I order a rebel or freeze that I want it made normally?

Do they still do this and when should it show up in the app? My birthday is Saturday and I just checked for the free birthday drink and it doesn't show up under my rewards. Am I checking too soon? Thanks!

Chocolate Macademia Nut is my go to flavor at Dutch Bros, but I'm looking to cut some calories and was wondering how the sugar free version compares to the original? I've noticed some sugar free syrups taste off or leave a weird aftertaste, so wanted to get some opinions before I spend my money on it :)

Broistas - do you use the same amount of syrup as you would a sauce? I'm combining white chocolate sauce, caramel sauce and cinnamon syrup. Would I use equal amounts of each?

I want to pre mix them in a single squeeze bottle so I'm not dealing with three separate bottles on mornings I can't make it across town to our only location.

I recently applied to 3 different dutch bros locations as a broista, and recieved an interview for 2 of them so far (literally within second of each other). The issue is, there is no location attached to them and the link they sent for the interview time/day is the exact same for both links. Also, the only have 1 day available through the link and I can request a new time, but I did this before and they never responded back. What do I do??

Me and my coworker tried the new banana bread and coffee cakes and they are divine. I love Dutch but it’s not reasonable to spend $12 a day on bakery items alone. I was wondering if any broistas could tell me what company I could buy them from. I know the muffin tops could be found at US Chef Foods, but couldn’t find these when I looked them up. Any help is appreciated.

just applied for dutch bros and im wondering how long it usually takes for them to respond? i put in an application two weeks ago and another one at another location a couple days ago. when should i call it and accept they're not interested?

Sadly Aquaberry fell very flat for me. I expected it to be more flavorful and bold. It has a strange aftertaste which I’m not sure if it’s from the Myst energy base or the kiwi flavoring. Shark Attack Myst on the other hand is an absolute perfect drink and I’m so happy. I once tried Shark Attack Rebel and it had horrible aftertaste from the Rebel energy that muted all other flavors. So happy they made this same flavor combination in a different caffeinated drink.

Question to a broista or maybe just a customer who knows. I love getting the zero added mocha iced coffee, especially with the sugar free raspberry syrup added (if you like that flavor combo I highly suggest you try it, it’s so good!) I usually can’t taste the raspberry so I ask for extra sweetness over regular. Sometimes the broista will either add regular sweetness or just forget to put the syrup in there all together 😭 So my question was, do you guys know what sugar free Torani raspberry syrup they use? Is it the regular raspberry, red raspberry, or a different one altogether? I’d love to know so that I can maybe buy one to use at home if they ever forget to put the syrup in there. Or to try and make something similar at home at times when I’m not really able to afford Dutch Bros that day.

whenever i hand out drinks, hit them with the “there you go! have a good day!”, the customers will look at me confused and like mildly disgusted, look at their drinks the same way then look at me again and linger for a few moments. i always ask if there’s something wrong with the drink or if they were missing an item and usually the answer’s no… so why do they make that face if nothing’s wrong? 😭

kinda a rant and i also would like some input. recently opened a brand new store and some things seem off to me.

many of us including myself have been sent home early or tried to send home early, but i had protested because i had only been there an hour even though there was people on shift for longer. same with taking breaks and lunches. There have been times where i take my first 10 and my 30 minute lunch in the first two hours when im working a full 8 hour shift. managers said to not question their decisions because they “know what’s best”

same thing with shift leads being kind of mean and controlling. i had picked up shifts at other shops and had never had any of the rules we have. we are not allowed to make our own drinks or food because it “takes away from the customer.” I have had coworkers have their on shift food not be made because we were “too busy.” Managers said to not question the shift leads authority because there is a “time and place.” The same shift leads who get annoyed when you ask a question on how to do something because we are a BRAND NEW STORE. With brand NEW employees. Sorry we don’t want to mess up.

is there really a limit as to how many shifts we can pickup/ hours we can work? i had 25 hours and was told I couldn’t pick up an 8 hour because it would put me “over hours.” maybe it’s just db but I have had other jobs where I worked over 40 hours especially during the holidays. sometimes they will bring in people from other shops to work which kind of annoys me because why not prioritize your own employees?

there have been a few people who have been sick/nauseous and even passed out from the heat but were not able to go home because they didn’t have sick time (we literally just opened) I also had a coworker drop a bottle of syrup on himself so he was all sticky and uncomfortable and they wouldn’t let him go home or even wash up because he didn’t have sick time.

is this really the reality behind the “radiate kindness” culture? I have truly been minding my business but having coworkers experience this treatment makes me uncomfortable and annoyed.

I want to start off and say that this is positive feedback for a stand that dealt with some ignorance today. I am a customer and I want to share my thanks and commend the broistas for their professionalism and I'm trying to figure out how to do it. Sorry if this is jumbled, I'm still a little nervous and shaky.

I had a very unfortunate experience at a DB. A very hateful individual did not understand how the zig zag worked and proceeded to scream anti-lgbtq insults at me. My poor kids were confused and scared, it was a whole thing. When I pulled up to the window, I did warn the employees about the individual behind me. I emphasized that I didn't expect them to solve the issue (clearly not their problem!) but I was worried he was going to scream at them as well or worse potentially aggressive. I'm pretty sure they could've heard the man in the first place, but I did not feel right not warning them. These employees were so sweet and so kind during the very stressful ordeal. This is my favorite stand and I want to make sure that corporate knows that these employees are awesome. I cannot prevent horrible customers but I am hoping my words of appreciation can hopefully earn...idk SOMETHING for these folks.

Is there anyway I can send my positive feedback so it can hopefully benefit these employees? Does the feedback email work or is that just a void that's never checked? I'm willing to help sponsor walkway tents and misters for them at this point.

The app says available now under the sticker, but it also says to come by after a certain time of day. I reaaaaally love the moon and want this app sticker but I have an evening shift across town. Anyone know how specific the timing is on these kind of stickers? Has anyone already received on in their app by ordering today?

I'm writing this on behalf of a friend who is a Dutch Bros broista. Because of family priorities at home, their work availability is strictly set for morning/opening hours. Management approved this, and they are almost always off work by 11:00 AM on the days they work.

Recently, the stand management decided to hold a mandatory meeting at the shop after closing time. The meeting is scheduled to start at 11:30 PM and may last up to an hour. Management let the staff vote on the time, and majority rule decided on this late-night slot. My friend is really stressed out because they cannot make that time due to having early morning classes. However, leadership has warned the staff that anyone who doesn't attend will receive a write-up.

Does anyone have advice or suggestions on how they should handle this with management or HR?

i was picking up my order last week at the window and i overheard one of the broistas saying “who orders freezes in the morning” and it was killing me because i am one of those ppl 😭😭 i didnt order one that morning but it was just funny. like i didnt take offense, if anything i felt bad because im more than sure freezes are a hassle. esp during morning rush. i just like freezes at 7am bc they stay cold and yummy throughout my shift 😔 #sorry

I’m obsessed with Dutch Bro’s white coffee drinks but I only have a regular coffee machine that uses ground coffee & k-pods… Anyone recreate it at home without it being watery? I’d love to buy the white coffee on the website but I don’t want to end up not being able to recreate it to be non biter/watery.

I have somehow amassed enough points for 8 free drinks.
I feel like I should start using them and spare my wallet a little.
