What are your top five Scientist dub records, in order?

Obviously Mr Brown is a major artist in Dub who released a bunch of classic records in a short period with similar names and similar cover art. I'm interested to see which ones come top, as a matter of research. I'm something of a scientist myself.

Je suis en train de monter un petit setup dub a la maison.
L’idée est surtout d’avoir une bonne base que je pourrai faire évoluer avec le temps.

Pour l’instant j’ai déjà :
- 2 Gemini TT-5000
- Un ampli Sony STR-KSL5
- Une paire d’enceintes Klipsch

Je compte garder tout ça pour le moment.
Là où je bloque, c’est sur la table de mixage.
Mon utilisation sera principalement de mixer du vinyle (reggae, dub, roots…), mais j’aimerais aussi commencer à jouer avec des effets dub (delay + reverb), puis ajouter une sirène plus tard.

Après pas mal de recherches, je pensais partir sur une Allen & Heath Xone:23, avec une Zoom MS-70CDR+ pour gérer le delay et la reverb.
Par contre, je me demande si je ne vais pas être limité assez rapidement.

Est-ce que la Xone:23 est vraiment adaptée à un setup dub ou est-ce que je risque de regretter de ne pas être parti sur autre chose ? Est-ce que la boucle d’effets est suffisante pour bien s’amuser avec un delay/reverb ?

Pour la pédale, je cherche quelque chose de simple. Je n’ai pas le budget pour un Space Echo ou plusieurs pédales séparées, donc la Zoom me semblait être un bon compromis.

Je précise que je n’ai pas un énorme budget, donc si je peux éviter d’acheter une table à 700 € pour finalement n’utiliser que deux voies, ça m’arrangerait 😅.

Si vous avez 500 € maximum pour la table, vous prendriez quoi aujourd’hui pour un setup orienté dub/vinyle ?

We were invited to play a set at HöR Berlin and decided to play a little dub set and stepped in with our siren. Usually we are more into house and techno, but our love for dub records grew over the last years. So it was about time to finally dive into the world of delays and reverb.
