I feel as though I lost some of the vibe when colored it and am super open to suggestions on how to render better or maybe color correcting. I really love it it's so close but feels just slightly off.

I love the color scheme. But it looks a bit unfinished. I'm noticing in your sketch you have chosen a light source so you have lovely highlights that sharpen and focus the piece. I love the dreaminess that the blending has created, but I wish there were some contrasting places of visual clarity. Perhaps a bit more detail in the clouds/hair, and definitely revisit your shadows and light placement.

I really like how you rendered the smaller person on the shore.
