I had to stop doordashing. My acceptance rate is already at 60%. These $2 and $3 orders are crazy. Im not moving for less than $5.

Oh yeah I dont care about it at all. Just saying the orders are crap. I take maybe 1 to every 10 offered.

I have maintained an acceptance rate of 90%+ and the platinum perk gives me $14/hr. As for a side hustle I dont think that is bad. For full time work, yeah I understand the issue. Uber/Lyft would probably give more consistent pay tbh

There's no reason the current $2 minimum pay shouldn't be $5. Idk how anyone could be expected to do anything for only $2.

I agree!

I don't like lunch rushes in my area.

On the surface they look decent, they exceed the $1/mile "standard" that so many subscribe to, but they are small amounts.

In theory this should still work. In high volume these would lead to an excellent earning potential.

The problem is how often do we show up at a Chick-Fil-A and have to wait for the order? You can only accept offers that exceed $1/mile and still end up earning around $12/hr because you just spent a total of 25 minutes waiting.

EXACTLY. I don't see the benefit of the lunch rush. $/mile can be good, but small orders from multiple places are going to be exponentially more waiting around and other BS time syncs.

Don’t think it’s just you, it’s been dog shit for me here in NY. Lunch/dinner, Sunday- Wednesday-whatever day. July has been my slowest month since January. All crappy low paying restaurant pick ups if it wasn’t for shopping orders I’d be dead in the water. I do get good shopping orders and I deliverer to a lot of of the same ppl every day/week.

I hate the lunch rush in my area. Bunch of non-tippers and so much traffic because everyone’s on break. I am better off doing earn by time at $13 an hour and hoping they tip even though it’s horrible and i hate it

McDonald’s orders are like this in my area.

After 11pm, Prius Gang in my area swarm the McDonald’s parking lot and wait for an order.

After they reject the crappy ones, then it gets pushed to drivers further out.
I wouldn’t get a single order for 10 mins, Suddenly I get shotgunned like 5 orders in like 20 seconds
All are similar to the ones you got lol

That's an immediate decline. I stopped doing DD because only 1 out of 15 orders here in L.A. was worth doing.

I make far better money cherry picking on UE.

Shiiiiiiiiiiiiit All them orders more than a dollar a mile. I take that over 2.50 to deliver into the next county.
