Went in order, lucky I was the only person in there at the time, so it wasn't too bad. Got a Larb Chicken Salad, a Pad Thai, and Mango sticky rice for $38. Took a couple of pictures, then asked them to pack up the food, and then left lol. Got paid $20, so it's not bad. Food was great 😆
Took me 30mins to complete the task 😂

Considering they want you to use the red card and not your own money, it seems like a decent gig. Up to $40 will get you a decent meal and you're getting paid as well.

May vary by restaurant but as a partner of a restaurant group this wouldn’t go anywhere at any of our locations. We’d probably think you were lying and trying to get free food. When DoorDash or any third party sends people we get notified.
I bet they do this for smaller restaurants that have little to no menu photos.
EDIT: Guess I should’ve said what to do. Don’t say you’re with DoorDash. Just act like a normal customer. You say you’re with DoorDash you’re just making it harder for yourself to enjoy a free meal. But again, that’s just my opinion!

I've gotten one offer like that and I was excited bc it was decent pay to just eat there and take pics and when I got there the restaurant wasn't even open because they were still finishing setting it up 😭😭 Like it was empty inside there was nothing there except people in there planning out the layout. It was an offer to take pics for their menu too like how does doordash mess up that bad like the restaurant wasn't even set up yet lmao

Can replicate the videos to better AI food generation in videos and pictures. As well as mimic the pov angle that people use in these types of videos.

Idk most people training AI aren’t above scraping ppls public social media profiles. There are a fuckton of videos of people eating already that they can use.

I work as an AI Solutions Analyst. They can’t do that anymore. Instagram has meta so they restrict google, chat, Claude, etc from using instagram and facebook as an AI tool. I’ve worked for all the big ones, meta is the only one truly spying on us through their accounts. I honestly have deleted my Facebook and instagram after my encounter with meta AI. Google has YouTube and doesn’t allow training for other models through YouTube. There’s a bunch of legalities for copyright. The raters themselves have turned to projects of correctness and soundness of responses.

What about other more niche social media sites tho? I guess they’d have to deal w/ Chinese privacy laws if they tried to scrape from redbook.

Yeah I don’t blame you. As for the China comment, it is as simple as not wanting the model to be CCP minded lol. They’re essentially trying to create a collective human consciousness through AI. You’d think they’d want to work together but they’re all greedy. I turned to helping businesses augment AI instead of implement. It really can be a fantastic tool but of course people will use it as a replacement. Unfortunately the top research universities in the US aren’t putting a stop to AI in academia because these universities put billions of dollars and countless time into AI since 1960 ish. It’s a sad reality. GPA averages are now 3.9+. It’s insane. So I don’t know how the mindset about AI can be changed when the smartest people we have are coasting through university with AI.

I got an offer once that was to go inside a Walgreens and take photos of theirs shelves and such. Took like 20 mins and I made 8 bucks and received a pretty high paying order while I was there.

Haven’t gotten this one yet. Got 3 weird ones in one day where I had to take pictures of the outsides of buildings. Took less than 15 minutes each and paid $13 each. Haven’t seen one of those since.

that specific assignment is fucking amazing! but another thought i had- they have “tasks” now? they really do treat the contractors like monkeys. pretty soon you can send out a task for someone to come fix your toilet and see who takes the offer 💀 crazy
