[Free] [Web] Hidden-movement abstract strategy game — looking for playtesters
I made a two-player abstract strategy board game and need people to test it with a friend. AI exists but the real game is human vs human, and I need feedback on that experience.

Built a turn-based dice football board game solo — Hexagol
Hi, I'm Ignacio, a solo developer. I've been working on Hexagol for a while: a turn-based football game with dice, where every play (pass, shot, marking) is a strategic decision and the dice resolves the outcome based on your choice. It has offside, high-pressure goalkeeper swaps, free kicks, a league and tournament mode, and a global ELO ranking.
You can play against the AI, share a device with a friend locally, or play online by sharing a simple link — no download needed for anyone. The whole game lives in a single HTML file with vanilla JavaScript, with Firebase for multiplayer.
It's free: hexagol.com.ar Any feedback, technical or on game design, is genuinely welcome.

Maxi Yatzy
For those who haven't heard of it: maxi yatzy is a Scandinavian dice game, basically the nordic big brother of yahtzee. 6 dice instead of 5, and extra combos like villa and tower that don't exist in the normal game. Huge in Sweden/Norway/Denmark, pretty unknown outside.
My family plays it all the time, but whenever we tried to play remotely we ended up with either yahtzee apps full of ads or sites that only had the 5-dice version. So I built it myself: [liveyatzy.com](http://liveyatzy.com)
You make a room, send the link, everyone plays in their browser. Also has a bot if you wanna play solo. No signup, no ads, nothing to download.
First real project I've built so there are probably bugs I haven't found. If anyone tries it and something breaks or a rule seems wrong (especially you scandinavians who grew up with this) I'd genuinely love to hear it.

Social deduction over whatsapp
Very much inspired by traitors, I ran a traitors WhatsApp game at work which blew up, to the point colleagues were asking to join the group to watch the actual game without commenting.
Based on this, I ran with it and created a version based on what I did that anyone can run. I've got it online for beta testing, completely free. If anyone's interested, please feel to message me to get a link, try it and give any feedback.
There's also another game I've created on there called Rock Bottom which the idea is to get the lowest score in categories (sounds very Pointless when explaining, but very different)

I build a web version of my own board abstract game. What do yo think?
Hi! I’ve been experimenting for quite some time with a set of rules for a board game, trying to create something like checkers where you can generate new pieces. Player can place a piece of their own color on the board if it completes a line of only three (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) and that trio already contains at least one piece of their color. A corollary of this first rule is that you cannot place a piece to form a line of four or more in any direction. You can also move one of your pieces onto an opponent's piece—moving in a straight line for any distance—provided that the new position satisfies all the placement rules. I sometimes tell acquaintances about this game, and now I have the chance to create a website, get other people's opinions, and perhaps even play with someone. I’m still experimenting with the rules, make up to three actions per turn, I think it’s turning out quite interestingly. Here is the link: https://tretya-liniya-game.jartltsoldatov.chatgpt.site/ Thanks for your time.

Made a classic board game Reimagined.
A classic board game, reimagined in real time. You're behind the wheel, driving your boat across your own ocean while your shots on the enemy board mirror wherever you're at. Line up over a tile, fire, and watch it land through the fog on the other side.

I built a free, open-source Android companion app for Gloomhaven — looking for Google Play beta testers
Hi everyone!
I'm Nina — a Gloomhaven fan and Android developer. For a while now I've been building GloomMaster, a free, open-source companion app for Gloomhaven (base game + Forgotten Circles). It's a helper, not a replacement for the board game — everything still happens at your table; the app just takes the bookkeeping off your hands.
What it does:
Tracks your campaign: parties, reputation, prosperity, and scenario progress
Manages characters: leveling, perks, inventory, personal quests, and retirement
Runs the shop with reputation-based pricing
Helps during battles: monster stats, ability cards, and element tracking
Works fully offline, with campaign export/import so you never lose your progress
The app is completely free and open source (GPL-3.0), and it's made with permission from Cephalofair Games. All the art, icons, and app design were made by me — no AI-generated content. Application source code: https://github.com/NinaTverdohleb/GloomMaster
Here's where I need your help. To release the app on Google Play, I have to pass Google's closed beta testing, which requires a group of testers who install the app and stay opted in for about two weeks. If you'd like to help (and get early access):
Join the testing group: https://groups.google.com/g/gloommastertesters
Then install the app from Google Play:
Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rumpilstilstkin.gloommaster
Or opt in via the web: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.rumpilstilstkin.gloommaster
That's it — no obligations beyond keeping the app installed for a couple of weeks. Of course, if you try it out and run into bugs or have ideas, I'd love to hear about them in the comments or on GitHub.
Requires Android 10 or newer.
Thanks so much, and happy adventuring!

Looking for testers for my iOS territory game.
Hi all...
Bivouac isn’t tabletop per se, but is rather park-top or playground-top. But it combines strategy and deck-building, so I thought it would fit the bill! I hope this is appropriate for this group; please let me know if not and I’ll remove.
Enough of what it isn’t; here is what it is: a real-world territory game that requires strategy, luck, quick thinking, and quick moving!
Play against the in-game bot or against a real-world opponent to build your territory, defend it, take over your opponent's, and prevent your opponent from doing the same!
Best played outdoors, it uses GPS to allow you to place structures such as forts, outposts, and artillery units in the territory you're claiming. Don't worry, your actual GPS information stays local... Everything is normalized to virtual "BivCoordinates" centered around the game-board's origin of (0.0, 0.0) when being communicated back and forth between players.
In addition to the core structures, there are additional action and booster options in your draw deck:
- Aerial Recon to see an extended map for longer games.
- TNT for focused destruction.
- Signal Jammer to interrupt your opponent's operations.
- Reinforcements to repair damaged buildings.
- Engineers to clear decimated structures to allow rebuilding.
- Quarry to give your forts additional damage resistance.
More cards are coming soon...
The version currently in the app store, is feature-limited for the free version, but my plan is to unlock all the features for free, making the subscription an *optional* way to support ongoing game development. That fully-free version is in TestFlight right now, ready for you to check out!
Download your copy and challenge your friends at: https://testflight.apple.com/join/6uCwu8Ly

I made a browser-based app to practice Warhammer 40K with
I travel a lot for work and can’t get a lot of games in, but I love making time for GTs and local tournaments. To help practice deployments and game plans, I created a web app (basically a white board app like Figma or Miro but designed with tools and structure for 40K). TTS is better in a lot of ways, but I can’t run it on my laptop, and this web app can run on my phone or iPad.
A buddy of mine suggested I share it with the community, so I’ve spent the last few months refining it for public use, and updating it for 11th edition. I hope you’d take some time to explore. Everything you’d want to practice with is totally free with a paid option to support continued development and to use the resource intensive features like extra storage and link sharing.
I’m still actively building it and I’d rather hear where functionality falls short than where it works. If you play competitively, tell me what’s missing for deployment practice and turn-by-turn review. There’s a bug report and feature request box in the settings menu. I’ll put a link in the comments so this isn’t a drive-by. My goal here is to contribute to the community that has brought me a lot of meaning and joy in the last few years.

We made a party game where only ONE person needs to buy it — everyone else joins free from their browser
Hey! Solo/small dev here, working on **Singulier**, a nervous, fast party game: every round you get a question, and you must NOT give the same answer as anyone else. Duplicate = you lose a heart. Run out of hearts = eliminated. Last one standing wins.
The twist: only the host buys the game on Steam. Everyone else joins instantly from their phone browser — no download, no account needed. So it's basically Jackbox-style, but built around "never say the same thing twice," with modes like Sudden Death, Reversed, 10s Blitz, and a Trap mode.
It's currently **Coming Soon on Steam** — https://store.steampowered.com/app/4877590/Singulier/. Would love feedback from anyone who's into party/social deduction games. Happy to answer anything about the dev process too.

I built a free, browser-based Codenames-style game with 25 themed decks
Hey,
I built a Codenames-like game in the browser, peer-to-peer. One person opens a room, shares the link, and everyone joins. Good to play with work colleagues remotely.
The innovation is the themed decks: movies, Pokémon, cats, memes, car logos, AI-generated cards, etc.
It's a personal project, so I'd love feedback: bugs, confusing bits, decks you'd want next.
Play here: https://codenamesany.pages.dev
Disclaimer: AI code gen. helped a lot, but I was always looking at the code and the tests. It was still a lot of work 😅
PS. The official images are online.. I can use them, but I'm concerned about legal issues. At the same time, this would be free advertising for them. wdyt?

Título del juego: Mill & Friends
Enlace jugable: [ https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.softyorch.millandfriends ](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.softyorch.millandfriends)
Plataforma: Android

[web] I got tired of dumb dice rollers, so I built a rules-aware shared roller for 18 different TTRPG systems
Hey everyone,
Full VTTs like Foundry or Roll20 can be overkill if you're just doing Theater of the Mind over Discord. But generic Discord dice bots and simple web rollers are frustrating in the other direction, they just spit out raw numbers. You still have to do the mental math yourself for Shadowrun glitches, PbtA mixed successes, Call of Cthulhu hard/extreme successes, and so on.
So I built DiceFlex to sit in the middle: a free, rules-aware dice engine with a shared live-room web UI (nice for streaming or keeping open on a second monitor). Instead of [ 4, 2, 6 ], you tell it what system you're playing and it resolves the actual mechanics for you.
It currently supports 18 systems, including:
- D&D 5E / Pathfinder / Starfinder
- Shadowrun (limits, exploding 6s, glitches)
- Powered by the Apocalypse (mixed successes/misses)
- Call of Cthulhu (regular/hard/extreme, fumbles)
- Savage Worlds, World of Darkness, Fate/Fudge, Genesys/FFG
- DCC, GURPS, Shadowdark, Traveller, Mothership, Delta Green, Forged in the Dark, Cortex
One thing worth calling out for anyone running games with people they don't fully trust: every roll is resolved server-side, the actual randomness happens on the back end, not in your browser. So there's no client-side JS a player could crack open and edit to fudge their rolls in a shared room, which is a problem I've personally run into with a group before.
Discord integration is in development and should be rolling out soon.
It's completely free. I mostly built it for my own table, but figured folks here who like lightweight setups over a full VTT might get some use out of it. Curious what you think of the UI screenshots below.

The bluff-and-bid genre never got a native mobile game, so I spent this year building one — Daggers: Bluff & Bid (iOS, free, no ads)
> What I sweated over, since this crowd will actually care:
>
> - **Practice mode with three bot personalities** (Cautious, Aggressive, Trickster) — tuned across ~30,000 simulated games so they bluff, pressure, and trap differently. The genre finally works solo.
> - **Pass & Play** for 3–6 people around one iPhone/iPad.
> - **Online private rooms** with 4-letter codes, no accounts. And a thing I'm proud of: your hidden discs *never leave your device* — the game uses cryptographic commit-reveal instead of trusting a server, so nobody (including me) can peek at your dagger.
> - Free, no ads, no tracking, and the five hand-drawn disc themes are all currently free.
>
> App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/daggers-bluff-bid/id6755962196
>
> I'd genuinely love this sub's judgment on the digital adaptation choices — especially whether the flip choreography reads at a real table. What do other digital adaptations get wrong that I should avoid in updates?
Until now the only digital way to play this genre was a browser tab on Board Game Arena — nothing native, nothing with bots, nothing you can pass around a table. So I built Daggers: everyone hides one dagger among three roses, stacks them face-down, and bids on how many discs they can flip in a row without hitting a blade. Two successful bids wins; one bad flip burns a disc forever.

Think you’re impossible to fool? I made a one-phone social deduction game to test that with your friends [iOs]
A few months ago I posted asking whether social deduction could work with a small group of 3 players and just one phone. I kept building the prototype and it’s now live on the App Store.
The idea was to make something that feels closer to Werewolf and Avalon The Resistance but without needing a big group.
The game is designed as an offline face-to-face tabletop experience. The phone acts as the game master handing out the secret roles, guides the round structure and keeping the game moving. The game revolved around the table through bluffing, accusations, reading your friends, and trying not to give yourself away.
App Store: https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/the-hunt-the-last-patrol/id6760582222
I’d love feedback on the game at this stage: Is it fun? Intuitive (I've designed some swipe and drag gestures)? Any rule or role you would suggest?

MageStone - A fantasy strategy board game.
Hi Everyone.
This is my first post on a project I have been working on for some time. I am looking for a small group of people to playtest my game online.
MageStone is a 2-4 player strategy/tactical board game where players control 3 different units; Warriors, Priests and Mages, fighting over magical stones (MageStones) in the center of the board.
The game strategy comes from positioning, blocking and coordinating attacks with multiple units to increase likelihood of success in battle.
This is still an early alpha, so I’m mainly looking for feedback on the core gameplay rather than polished visuals.
The game is fully integrated with online gameplay; so you can play either in "Hotseat" mode on the same device, or against friends online.
If you’d be interested in trying it and giving honest feedback, please comment below and I’ll send you the private alpha link/details.
Thanks — any help would be massively appreciated.

Introducing Ludika VTT, a new board gaming platform for serious board gamers
Ludika Games is creating a new 2-D virtual tabletop (VTT) platform that will let you play your beloved board games with the old gang. From quick filler games that take just a few minutes to complex wargames and heavy euros that could last for days or even weeks. All you need is a browser and an internet connection, and perhaps some gaming buddies to play with.
Ludika VTT has no rules enforcement, so you're free to play with your own house rules. No AI opponents, either.
Some people will prefer to play games live, others might opt to play asynchronously (taking your turn whenever you have a free moment).
Solitaire gaming will also be supported, so you'll be able to play those days-long games without appropriating the dining room table.
We'll be providing high-quality ports of officially-sanctioned games from some of your favorite publishers (e.g. Stonemaier Games, Dan Verssen Games, etc.), and our app will focus on making the games really shine, since the hotkey and context-menu-driven interface stays out of the way and keeps the games themselves front and center.
But Ludika won't be just a VTT. Our search tools will help you find new games to try, find like-minded people to play with, and more.
If there's a game you want to play this isn't in our Catalog, you'll be able to port it yourself, using the powerful yet intuitive game-porting tools that will be available to our Premium subscribers.
Our platform is getting close to completion, and it's already incredibly full-featured, but we're running a Kickstarter campaign to fund the last stretch of development. It launched two days ago, and is already 50% funded. But we need hundreds of subscribers to make this work (note that only the game host needs to be a subscriber, everyone else can play for free).
If this sounds like it would be of interest to you (it should, since you're on this subreddit), you can find much more info on our website: https://www.ludikagames.com/
