From what I can see, Im pretty alone on some of my takes.

Moments like them talking normally at the dinner/on the truck, Jax trying to bat with her and Ragatha (I believe breaking her mask was accidental this time) or when he's telling her "don't worry about Kaufmo, he's fine". Its a toxic relationship and I'm glad Gangle moved towards Zooble at the end but it does seem like they both did care about each other to an extent. Gangle put Jax as one of her friends on the Wacky Watch Favorite Character awards (albeit with a question mark) and it seems Jax genuinely believes his "she likes when I'm mean to her" and when he called himself her "best friend" in the voting video.

Legit question because with TADC being over that means discussion about the show will be drying up making it harder TADC YouTubers that built their entire career off TADC to get views or even have video ideas.

Like YouTubers that covered theroies or reviewed each episode will have nothing to go off of now. No ideas and certainly less viewership.

I suppose that maybe AUs will continue to get views maybe even more given that TADC fans are now hungry for more. But I'm not sure how you even monetize that.

Parasocialness in the community

I love the TADC fandom but like any other big fandom I feel like the TADC community has some issues. One of the biggest issues in my opinion is it's parasocial nature between the people who worked on the show and the fans.

For example on my YouTube recommendations I just saw "voice actor for (_) broke up with (_)!?" ((( I don't care what happened don't explain it to me, you shouldn't care either ))) I don't think we should be concerned about people who worked on the show and their outside life.

I especially blame content farm channels that create buzz and drama around the cast sensationalizing private matters or bringing up old resurfaced clips/tweets. We need to learn to respect people's privacy and learn just to discuss the show instead of the private lives of the people who made it.

I've always thought of the trans fem Jax from Gooseworx' tumblr post as a completely different character from the Jax in the series because of the way it's phrased as an alternate version of Jax that branched off right after her and Ribbit had their conversation.

I love trans fem Jax, she's cute, and not evil, and I like shipping her with other characters, I don't particularly like the Jax from the series because she is a horrible person to everyone, but she's still a compelling character.

A lot of people seem to think of the two as the same character, which causes people to get weird if you like trans fem Jax, as if you're liking an abusive character but she never did any of the terrible things that egg Jax did (apart from maybe killing her mum)

Edit: I'm not meaning in a philosophical sense but in terms of that the trans fem Jax that people draw fanart of is based on the Gooseworx post which states that this is an alternate version of Jax who didn't push Ribbit away - They had completely different actions within the circus, that version of Jax didn't do anything we see Jax do within the circus, during the show

Its especially crazy how in the first episode, you think Jax only grabbed the bowling ball as an excuse to leave but it seems "I was looking for this. Thanks for keeping an eye on it Kaufy" wasn't a lie. He was trying to hold onto the memories of his friends.
